Is Pastor Henry W. Wright or Wrong

If you have a concern about this ministry you have every right to be.  He starts out sounding biblical but he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.   You may want to read the web article “A Review of: A More Excellent Way by Henry Wright”  written by Hampton Keathley IV, TH.M. If you don’t know when the WORD is being  properly divided, Henry will totally lead you astray.  I have more information if you are interested.

i couldn’t agree more with sandy, she is right. thank you for your words of insight. if we had to reason with wrightiswrong – confusion, too much confusion, too much as they right right. ministries are to encourage us, my bible is the best book and be in health has helped me go back to the Bible and have my heart cleansed and all the rubbish thrown away. amen amen I praise the name of Jesus Christ.

      • wrightiswrong Says:

It is a blessing to be encouraged. The bible is the BEST book! I’m thankful that you are back into your bible. I pray that you will be diligent in Studying to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15). If you get all your information from one source (Henry Wright) you will never know if you are walking in the truth or walking in deception. As you are biased against anything I have to share with you, I pray that, if you are free to think for yourself, you would research what the bible and other great men of faith have to say about curses, generational sin, matriarchal witches, blocks to healing and so. Blessings!

to let you all know that I had been searching in desperation for help – crying out to God of the Heavens for a breakthrough for my life. In 2010 I stumbled on http://www.beinhealth.com and after reading the book “A more Excellent Way” I joined and completed for my life online which has absolutely been a God send for my life. It made me turn to our Father God for every help and my life has been delivered from the enemy’s despair and depression. It made me turn back to the reality of God’s word to deal with deep issues in my life. It made me look at the faults inside me and fix up any problems I had with others. It made me look to God NOT HENRY WRIGHT. It has been wonderful and don’t reply to me telling me you are gravely concerned for my connections to this ministry. I haven’t allowed anyone to control me, God is in control in Jesus name. I have found though over the years that certain people find it hard to face up to their own problems and blame others – it is a common problem. You are far from perfect and I would say get off this thing against Henry Wright as God is in control of him – worry about yourself and helping others to be set free. Some of these comments on here are directly from the pit of hell. Change yourself and you might realise a hope for restoration instead of bitterness and judgments. I can assure you Henry Wright certainly seeks the face of God and he is changing every day – desperately seek the face of God and do something for God’s kingdom – stop destroying it!!! there are numerous testimonies of hope and healing through the ministry of Be In Health and I am very certain that Henry Wright is a believer in Christ Jesus and I’ve heard him say over and over that he continues to seek the Lord for change in his own life. I have applied the principles he has taught for deep change and repentance of issues in my life that I hadn’t realised were in the Bible. After doing For my life online, I realised I still had a long way to go. You guys have a long way to go – a long way. Stop cursing and judging and look within yourselves and you will go a long way in your christian journey. STOP! STOP! Look deeply within yourselves and ask the Lord to “search my heart O God” – Look, its plain – Henry Wright is in a leadership position and you guys don’t like him because he spells it out how it should be and how all Pastors should be preaching from their platforms” Satan doesn’t want any christians knowing they can defeat jealousy and bitterness and judgments etc etc in their lives. thats why you critics don’t like him. You are like the pharasees – hypocrites!! I’ve never known what should be christians setting up a blog to tear a man to the ground. Something I have learnt is this – THE DEVIL ACCUSES (HE ACCUSES BECAUSE HE KNOWS IT CONDEMNS AND INTIMIDATES US – IT KNOCKS US TO THE GROUND), BUT CONVICTION IS WHEN GOD CONVICTS US OF OUR NEED OF HIM – IT MAY KNOCK US SOMETIMES, BUT HE IS GENTLE AND ALLOWS US TO COME BACK THROUGH CONVICTION. Allow God to work in Henry Wright and you can be certain He is. You poor people with nothing else better to do than absolutely accuse and judge. that is what you are doing. may God arise and shine truth to your eyes. I praise God for the Ministry of Be In Health as it has been a great inspiration and help as I applied the principles he had taught. I did it that was all – I got down on my knees before a Holy God and cried – literally cried for Him to take away the deep pain of rejection and despair. I did it day after day until it was totally released in Jesus name all praise to our Heavenly Father. AMEN!!!! Plus much more encouragement from this ministry – I applied the biblical steps to my life and WOW! Healing and Set Free by the power of our precious Holy Spirit. Be blessed and be made whole and completely free in Christ.

      • Robert W. Watts Says:

It is so sad that Jesus is in need of so much help! Poor Jesus, He just needs all of these people to help Him be God. Oh yes, “Confess your sins one to another,..” that is a lifelong process and negates His command to go. What is it about Go that is so difficult.

Matthew 25:31-46 The man who was healed with mud on his eye is still beating the man who was healed by multiple prayers and the starving folk of the world look on in wonder.

Please beat each other up. Create more demonationns and rightly divide the word of God till we all stand and worship God but do nothing for the poor.

What’s that? You say that you went to a conference and it encouraged you to deny yourself, to live frugally and do more to alleviate oppression? Certainly not in the USA.

Please, by all means, seek benifit for your self, I mean, who is our neighbor anyway?

Feel good. Join the crowd. Many will cry out in that day, Lord, Lord.

      • wrightiswrong Says:

Thank you for expressing your views on this blog. May I response to you in hopefully a loving and truthful way. When you say that we are “far from perfect”, you are absolutely correct. We are far from perfect. I sincerely hope we never hinted that we were near perfection. We all realized we fall way short of the glory of God. Our journey will not be perfected here on earth and never by our own power. It’s not our doing. It is only by the work of Jesus Christ perfect sacrifice that will be able to approach the thorn of God sinless. You say we are judging mean condemning. We are not condemning but trying to discern God’s truth as it is written in the bible. We are not out to destroy God’s kingdom by questioning the practice of Henry Wright. We know that we are powerless against God. God is also controlling this blog. If God did not want this blog to be here it definite would not be. We are trying to be good Bereans and testing everything preachers say to the word of God and we find that Henry falls short of the truth. It is not that “Henry spells it out how it should be” but that he is misleading people about what the bible says that concerns us.

Those things that you “hadn’t realized were in the Bible” – are they really in the bible or are they things that Henry Wright has made up?
You ask us to stop cursing and judging. Please know that the blessing and cursing the Henry teaches is also not biblical. This is just one area that Henry has missed the mark as far as true biblical teaching. Please test it out for yourself.

1.There is not a single example anywhere in the Bible of someone breaking a curse in any way. There are no examples of someone attempting to break a curse either.
        2. The Bible does not contain the phrase breaking a curse or any similar phrase, either that would indicate that curses can be broken .
        3. Christ does not teach or demonstrate the need of breaking curses anywhere in the Gospels. Christ simply ministers healing and cast out demons without this kind of preparation. This is what the disciples knew that perhaps we don’t know.
        4. The 12 apostles, the apostle Paul or any other writer of the New Testament does not teach or demonstrate the need to break curses. They simply minister healing and deliverance to people without this kind of preparation.
        5. The New Testament consistently teaches that believers are blessed and does not even hint that they are cursed in any way.
        6. When we survey every verse in the New Testament that uses a form of the word curse, not a single one even hints that Christians might have a problem with curses.
        7. Galatians 3:13-14 is the one passage that connects Christ’s sacrifice with curses. It says nothing about breaking curses and is speaking specifically about the curse of the Law of Moses that was spoken by God. There is nothing in this passage or any other about breaking the so-called curses that people might speak.

Commandments in the Law of Moses . This is the first and second commandment s in that passage: Exodus 20:1-6 Then God spoke all these words, saying, “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery. “You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the water under the earth. You shall not worship them or serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving kindness to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments . What specific iniquity is God speaking about? Idolatry . This so-called curse is not attached to any other kinds of sin. Who is God going to visit iniquity upon their decedents ? God is going to punish those Jews living under the Law of Moses who practice idolatry and who hate God. No one else.

How will this so-called curse work out? Those Jewish idolaters who hate God will have children who practice idolatry and will hate God. This so-called curse does not affect anyone else.

Important Points to Consider about this passage :
        1. No sincere Christian today should be living under the law of Moses. They should be living by grace in Jesus Christ in the New Covenant not the Law of Moses.
        2. No sincere Christian is making idols and practicing idolatry. The passage does not allow Christian spiritualization of the sin of idolatry. It is speaking literally about making and worshiping physical idols.
        3. No real Christian hates God. These ideas are mutually exclusive. You can’t be a follower of Christ and hate God at the same time. This passage does not apply to practicing Christians in any way.
        4. This passage says that God is showing loving kindness to thousands who serve and love Him in the Law of Moses. How much more is this true in the New Covenant.
        5. This passage does not say that this so-called generational curse can be broken . This passage does not use the word curse either. Only repentance from idolatry would change God’s mind. Breaking this curse is certainly not a solution that this passage offers.

Henry also has a misconception of generational sins. If you want to know the truth about what the bible says about generational sins, than please ask me and I’ll gladly show you in God’s word what God says!

Hope this helps. Warmest regards and the love of Christ Jesus be with you.

Thank you for your Biblical, loving resonse. I heard it said that we should judge our Experiences by God’s Word, instead of God’s Word by our Experience. If our Experience doesn’t line up, then we must throw it out and admit we were deceived. I sure understand now why Jesus called us sheep.

      • RJ Says:

I am not judging Henry for his salvation or his sincerity. We are commanded throughout scripture to discern. This is a discernment based on the truths of God’s Word. I shared my testimony once on this blog, only to warn others who would fall into the confusion that this ministry brings. The doctrines are not Biblical. You tell people not to judge what you wrote, yet you accuse those on this blog of not being as healthy as you. Woe to you for preaching another gospel then the one that Paul brought! The spiritual warfare, dominion theology, word of faith, and binding of Satan that this ministry teaches are not in accordance with the Word of God.

I can tell you love the Lord, and I am glad you were found healing in Jesus. I also agree that some posts on here are mean spirited. But, the false teachings are the issue here. Just read through the NT and you will see it is 75% combating false and distorted doctrines.

We only need the cross. We are to find REST in Him. This ministry is not about REST! The armor we are to put on is all Christ. He does the battle in the spirit realm for us. He defeated Satan already, “IT IS FINISHED” He declared. We just have to choose to accept that fact! Most of the techniques used in BeinHealth are simply psychological. You are attributing emotions to breakthroughs in the spirit realm. Not once in the Bible are people told a psychobabal method of Walking Out their healing. When the Son sets you free you are free indeed.

Bottom Line: It is actually your repentance and faith in God that set you free PERIOD!! There is no other way!

      • Robert W. Watts Says:

um… lemeee see. I go into a village in the mountains. A girl is bit by a snake. They catch the snake, pop its head off and drink the bile. They say that in this way the venom will not kill the girl and the rest of the tribe will not be effected by the spirits.

Sometimes she dies, sometimes not but you see, I am there to tell them about Jesus. He came, sacrificed himself and died once and for all for our sins. If you don’t believe that, it neither changes my mission or Jesus. It is there and if you want to wright or copeland or do the funky chicken and feel better, whatever, that is fine. I believe that when Jesus comes back, he will hold us accountable for what we did with so great a salvation.

You wear a cross, or read “that” version of the Bible. You sing 7/11 songs, seven songs 11 times each; Fine. You wear your shirt backwards or have tatoos or whatever. A policeman is a policeman because he does policeman things. A fireman is judged by his service and work, but Most Western Christians try to go to another conference and be better. Better at what?

When it is you or your children, do you call for help when you are in need? And if they tell you something and you feel better, don’t you want to be healed? Healed for what?

bbb’s Bodies, Bricks and Bucks people are those that make a living off Christ. They will entice you to attend seminars to feel good. Drink snake pee, if you want. Do the funky chicken and babble while making noises if you choose. Consume endless hours in study but please, the world is dying.

When your family or children or friends need help, you will not get it from the exestentialists. you will get it from soldiers who work with their hands and hearts to do something.

I do not serve God because it feels good, often it doesn’t. I serve God because Jesus died for me. What less could I do for Him. And by the way, if you need Mary to get to heaven, that is fine with me too, just grab that sack of wawa mum and lets feed the starving kids.

By the way, lets not argue about this, lets do this thing called Christian. The reason they got their name is cuz they did weird things, like loving their enemies and doing good to others.

      • Scooter B Says:

Quote from Concerned Concerned ” You are like the pharasees – hypocrites!! I’ve never known what should be christians setting up a blog to tear a man to the ground.”

Pharisees were known for a few things; hypocrisy, building a heavy burden on others they would not carry themselves or help carry and a complete misinterpretation of the scripture and old Testament Law that nullified God’s intent and ultimate purpose in presenting it. I must ask you look for planks in your own eye before attacking others here on this site. Calling someone into Scriptural accountability is never an attack on the individual and would never be perceived as an attack by someone submitted to the leadership of the Holy Spirit and someone who acknowledges the Scripture as the sole authority over doctrinal beliefs. What is being challenged (not an attack on a person) is significant misrepresentation of Biblical Scriptural truth. This can never be taken lightly by either party and has no place for personal attacks on persons. Strangely the only real attacks I have seen so far come from those claiming they or Henry Wright is being attacked. Unfortunately these are false accusations being made by those who have not been attacked but have instead received Biblical based correction and a call to accountability.

        1. No attacks of any kind are being made against pastor Wright. Without any personal knowledge of the man or his character I will assume he is very sincere and passionate about what he believes but according to Scripture many or most of this man’s teachings/beliefs are in contradiction with the Bible. Personally I was hoping these teaching were true and would offer hope and breakthroughs of healing in my life. No matter how much I want to be healed I cannot and will not subvert the gospel of Jesus Christ to suit my own desires. Henry Wright is NOT the focus of this blog and forum but rather the correct interpretation of Scripture. Rightly pointing out that Henry Wright’s teachings are in Biblical contradiction is not an attack on the man.

        2. What is being challenged and brought into the light of God’s word are false non Biblical teachings within the book A More Excellent Way and some personal experiences have also been shared. Some report good experiences and release that are also known to be often related to psychosomatic illnesses. Others have reported very negative experiences and have even reported having their families separated because some of the family rightly did not believe Henry Wright’s teachings were Biblically based. That is classic cult leader like behavior and separating families because they don’t agree with your own personal interpretation is NOT the fruit of the Holy Spirit or of a balanced pastor. If these reports are true there is NO defense for that behavior. Yes getting someone out of an abusive relationship is Biblically supported but the ultimate goal is toward safe reconciliation when possible.

I started reading the book with the mindset a former pastor had shared regarding reading books about the Bible or particular personal insights…”Eat the meat and spit out the bones”.

Unfortunately I am finding a 90% bone to meat ratio based on Scripture being taken out of context and especially in light of New Testament truths. Many of Henry Wrights positions directly contradict the recorded spoken words and teachings of Jesus. Much of what Mr Wright is teaching is indeed preaching another gospel than that of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. That may not be his intention and I will never attempt to judge his intention. Discerning the fruit and false teachings of a man or organization however has nothing to do with judging a man’s intent. We are indeed called to discern and rightly divide the word of truth. Don’t get the two confused.

        3. Yes human nature is often prone to blaming others and failing to self examine motives of the heart and taking responsibility for our decisions. This is well covered in Celebrate Recovery classes as well as other 12 step programs dealing with behavioral issues. No one is arguing against those points that I can tell however those principles are also often very effective in completely secular settings. They do overlap into both spiritual and psychological dynamics but they are based on the study of human nature.

        4. No where in the New Testament that I recall did Jesus or the disciples first require anyone who was healed to deal with “blocks to healing” or even called into repentance until after they were healed. It sometimes involved faith on the part of an individual however Jesus very clearly told the Pharisees that the blind man they pointed out to him was not blind because of sin on anyone’s part….not the man’s own sin, not his parents sin i.e. “generational curses”. In another healing by Jesus the man was healed without the discussion of sin or repentance at all. Later the man appeared in the temple and only AFTER he had received healing did Jesus instruct the man later in the temple to sin no more (a call to repentance). Yes there were old Testament covenants that connected sin behavior to sickness to specific people in specific situations however in the New Testament Jesus Himself fulfilled the law on our behalf while also receiving the wrath of judgement for our sins.

The single and only New Testament reference connecting unrighteous behaviors to sickness is related to taking the Lord’s Supper without examining themselves. The specific behaviors they are to examine themselves for are detailed in 1 Cor 11:17-20. This is the context for 1 Cor 11:27-30 and it involves examining how we treat others in the body of Christ, selfishness and drunkeness in the House of the Lord. This in turn reveals things in our heart that may need a deeper submission, repentance and correction.

There seems to be such confusion about godly healing. I am sure there is some value in H Wright’s considerations of the causes for different diseases and maybe it is beneficial to look at that when confronted with illness. However, I do believe that in every case of especially serious sickness or chronic conditions one needs to speak to God and ask his word on this specific situation. You would be amazed at how true and to the point He is. There is never in God’s world a one shoe fits all response, although general guidelines are useful. In one situation, what I heard was that it was a sickness unto death. Incidently, she did fit Wright’s profile for the specific illness. In another instance, I believe that my friend died while others were praying for her healing, because she was tired of the fight and did not want to carry on. God apparently respected her wishes and heart more than her eager friends whom she did find were putting her in their box of how things should be done. Then I know a lady who was healed of intestinal cancer after the congregation prayed for her during communion. Her medical records confirmed the healing a few days later. A young student had leukaemia. He believed that God gave him a word that he would be healed. Other young folk from the congregation took him to task about coming to hospital and submitting to medical treatment as they saw his actions as unbelief. He said to me.”God said He would heal me, but not in what manner. So I am not refusing medical treatment.” He had a bone marrow transplant and were healed.Maybe he would have died if he presumptiously assumed that meant not submitting to trearment. I saluted his maturity in not jumping to conclusions on God’s ways. Christians pay more dearly for presumption than we think. In ANY situation. Ask God What the strategy should be. Then fight the fight according to what he gives YOU both in the physical and the spiritual. Believe me, that is an adventure with God and have been the greatest awe inspiring chapters of God’s greatness in my life. Pray what God gives you. Check with others, but stay responsible for your own decisions. Do not be presumptious! It can cost you dearly.I also payed for presumption. Seek His response and walk in responsible faith. I see that with my clients too daily. If you do that, God will be glorified and you see Him act! Carli

I went to Henry Wright’s church back in 1999, and stayed for six months. Back then you could stay there at the old school or campground indefinetly. I went to be healed of fibromyalgia. When I came home I was so devastated and brainwashed and much sicker then when I arrived there. I ended up in a psychiatriac ward in Cincinnati, OH. Also so heartbroken because I put my all into his teachings. He would warn us during church services that some of us would turn against him , and that bad things would happen to us for that. Thank you for this website, I have prayed for eleven years to make some sense out of this, and still feel confused and wounded by my experience there. EXPOSE HIM!!!!

    • sandy Says:

you cannot blame Pastor Henry Wright 11yrs later for you own journey when we are all accountable for our own progress. we are encouraged in Gods word to move ahead past all the setbacks of life and journey forward, and if after 11yrs you still blame pastor Henry Wright and continue to hold him in a box there is something very wrong. that is why everything he encourages to rid our junk may cause a transition period, but the outcome and fruit of it is awesome. if there is no fruit, something is missing. in 11yrs the work of Be In Health has brought many to the realisation of junk and a real salvation and miraculous healings to their lives. thousands…thousands… he doesn’t preach hype -he preaches the real word of God to encourage people to go to our Heavenly Father Doctor and allow him to perform surgery on our lives to make anew -get to your real ‘sin’ issues -your junk -your judgements -because when we do this -we we allow the Holy Spirit to do this work in us, mighty results lay in front of our eyes -it might take a while to see much fruit, but the pain is worth it all. Halleluyah. you know -like the potter and the clay -the thumping and in the hot oven -a bit hard to handle, but the change process is worth it.

I do have a beautiful heart, and God knows that, and that is all that matters to me. We will all stand before God on judgement day, and I am not afraid, because I know what I write is the truth. If only one person is saved from this cult, then it it all worth it. No one has answered why Henry has taken away Iren’s girls and grandchild from her life. That woman greives everyday for her children. Every cult starts with the truth, to get your attention. Why does everyone that says they are healed always praise Henry’s teachings? They should be praising God. You will get into big trouble when people are always giving man the praise and not God first . As for humbleness, people have told me that I am the most humble person they have ever met. You do not even know me, and yet you judge me. I have repented of every sin, and all of my ancestors sins. But you see, still it takes the blood of Jesus Christ and his suffering on the cross to get me into heaven. Jesus Is Lord!!! I love Him and give Him the Glory for everything in my life. My thoughts are continually on Him. Yet, His word says that my righteousness are as filthy rags. I owe it all to Him!!! Let the name of the Lord be Praised forever and ever. AMEN

My estranged wife is requiring that I first be “reconciled” to her fellowship, who’s primary and predominant “prescription” for me is to complete the online conference / course on Be In Health website.

She started her separation (and impending divorce) by going to Theophostic Prayer Ministry . . . and ‘buying into’ the IHOP craze (along with the fellowship).

I warned her of the pitfalls and dangers of these “ministries”, but to no avail. Now this . . . if i refuse, the marriage is over, she divorces me and leaves our 4 children with the pieces / ashes.

I want / need whatever insight or assistance in this matter that you can offer.

My heart goes out to you. I’m in the same boat with my two girls. For the past 3 years, I have been lucky to spend a few hours with them every year and then I’m restricted as to what I can talk about. I have gone through major depression – don’t go there! They consider me untrust worthy because I don’t buy into Henry’s ministry. I’m not a counselor but I can tell you that if you are not a biblical scholar you will have a hard time seeing through all the deception. Even if you see the lies, Henry’s followers are blinded to reason, as you can tell from some of the comments on this blog. Henry conveys that HE is the only one who knows the truth and is selling it to a tune of $500,000 a year for his pockets. I have removed some comments from this blog because they were just accusatory and reasoning was not happening. If you take the online conference/course you may be able to see more of how Henry manipulates his followers. But I venture to say it will not help your situation. I have spent innumerable hours researching Henry and his deceptions. I have found no way of reasoning or dealing with His followers. He has changed to make his message more palatable to more people who want to control God instead of letting God control them. PRAY! I don’t know if he is a great psychologist at work, a self deceived leader or working with Satan himself. I know very few who have gotten our of his web. Cindy can give you information there. Pray about salvaging what is left of your family, be strong, lean on the Lord and with God’s help pull yourselves together, create a Godly life for your children. I’m sure this is not what you wanted to hear. Put it into God’s hands and carry on! May the Lord bless you, give you strength and courage to carry on your life in a Godly manner for your sake and your children. Warmest Regards

Thomas, I read what you wrote about your wife requiring you to the Be In Health online conference. Well, I say don’t go BUT- in the very beginning of the Course and end “Henry” urges people to not take his word for his teaching, but to study the scripture- Bible. Can you suggest to your wife that the both of you study the Bible together for a year (No Henry / No Be in Health teachings. Rely on good old fashioned Bible and Holy Spirit and prayer. (I dont advise anyone to take the “be in health course”- it is very hard to take even for grounded, rooted Christians.
The only reason I stayed in conference was because my mom and sister were there and didn’t know any better- actually mom my was on her way to getting hooked on Henry’s teaching. I stayed so I could counter act the wrongness, but it did take it’s toll and took some time to get over.

        Matthew 10:16
Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therfore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

Yes, i’m figuring that out. I’ve started reviewing the “Free Intro Course Online, the 10 Part , one day seminar” . . . and got literally, spiritually sick by minute 10 of the second part.

My plan is to do the course “FOR” my wife, giving her the “Reader’s Digest” version (or cliff notes / for dummies) . . . so as to shield her from the putrid refuse.

She’s so overwhelmed and wasn’t even planning on doing it anyways . . . they all think I’m the ONLY one who’s sick and needs deliverance (because i don’t agree with them and SUBMIT to them UNILATERALLY, UNRESERVEDLY, and UNEQUIVOCALLY).

It’s a cult, and they don’t even know they are. This “Be in Health” baloney poison fits right in with their “Theophostic Prayer Ministry” hocus pocus, their “VisionQuest” heart intrusion workshops, and “International House of Prayer” waywardness spiritual manipulation.

      • wrightiswrong Says:

Kim I so appreciate your thoughtful response and advice. Not being a psychologist I know that there is a lot of mind manipulation going on, but I don’t know quite how he does it. Be very careful, Thomas! May the Lord watch over your family and ground you well on HIS word only.

      • Kim (dragonslayer) Says:

Thomas- One thing I love about God is that he never puts us in a situation that we can’t handle. If we are in it it’s because God knows we can handle it. God knows you can handle it. When we can’t- he is there, (he’s always there)- to take over. God wants us to Trust and Believe, and not to worry. Even now he is working in your wife and family. It is awesome that you are not backing down from the manipulation of HW doctorine, because his (HW- Be In Health)doctorine is not infallible, it just takes people to point it out and the Holy Spirit to guide. I love wrightiswrong’s starfish story- one by one we will win this battle.

I have a whole 3 inch binder on misquoted or misrepresented quotes from the bible that Henry uses. Please let me know if I can be of any more assistance. I hope that 34 page document didn’t overwhelm you. Blessings!

  5. Cindy Pruss Says:

Thank you for all of your hard work. Don’t worry about the overwhelming part, remember I heard Henry’s mouth run for six months. Basically, he was involved in teachinng deamonology and casting out evil spirits. People were manifesting all around the place, back in 1998-1999. He would say I know the spirits that are haunting you at night, and sure enough myself and others would be tormented all night long, and have to do spiritual warfare the entire night. He told me that fibromyalgia was caused by the spirit of fear. Well it was so dang scarey down there, the fibromyalgia would really flare up! I could tell you boatloads of information about my bizzare experiences down there, that 11 years later, I somestimes still have to battle with. So much more than you could learn from just reading his book. I’m open , I want this ministry to be destroyed! It ruins peoples lives, and they get addicted to him. Sincerely, Cindy Pruss

Thanks you so much for your confidence in me. I really appreciate that. My heart is so saddened by your experience with HW. My email is angel_joy@hotmail.com . I am very interested in anything you have put together, and need to learn more myself. I know that Henry just received his doctorate from a University in Maryland. I know that his first degree was in psychology, I’m just wondering what he advanced in from there. Henry was always going around saying that he was going to crack the case on this matter and that. Well, with God’s help it is time that we all join forces and crack his case! He also warned several times to never write a book about this place. Also, he said that there would be some of us there that would turn against him, and terrible things would happen to us. That is the classic talk of a cult leader. After reading all of this I am so thankful to God that he brought me out into the light. You can’t give up, what he does for one, he will do for another. God Bless

  6. Moira Mews Says:

Well, what about doing a similar ctritique on the myths and legends of medical science (ie doctors)? People get addicted to doctors too, quite often, not just pastors. Neither addiction is healthy, but hope is good – ‘hope does not disappoint us’ – and sometimes disease does have a spiritual root (which is not always your own sin) and ‘solving this’ (through Jesus on the cross) does lead to lasting cure. But look at Jesus and not at pastors or doctors or yourself or your intellectual gymnastics, or diseases generally. Peter sank when he took his eyes off the Lord and had to be rescued. Also – ‘there is no condemnation in Christ’ – so we don’t condemn/accuse anyone either. Its good to divide the Word, but not each other. Timothy 3 is helpful over this, also Titus. luv MM

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Thank you for your comments. I totally agree with you. We need to look to Jesus and not Henry Wright! If we believe that Jesus is sovereign than we would also believe that He allows suffering to test the strength of our faith, to humble us, to wean us away form worldly things, to call us to a heavenly hope, to reveal what we really love, to encourage us to value the blessing of God, to enable us to help other in their trials and to develop enduring strength. If their were no trails and suffering we would not look to God but be spoiled brats.

The problem with the medical profession is NOT doctors, nor medication but our ignorance as to what our symptoms are, what our illness entails and what are our options for treatment. We want a quick and easy fix without always being totally truthful with our doctors. In addition to that we do not do what doctors tell us : do these exercises, loose weight, eat healthy, quit smoking etc. My doctor tells me that over 30% of all patience do not follow the doctors regiment for recovery and then Henry Wright put all the blame on doctors and medication mismanagement.

God designed our bodies to self heal. If you allow God to work. 65% of all ailments will heal without medication and without Henry Wright. It takes time and we don’t want to work at healing ourselves God’s way. For the other 35% I count my blessings for doctors and medicine. There are millions of people who would be dead by now if it were not for the God given gifts bestowed on the medical professional and the use of medications. Does God always heal in the same way? No. Christ had many different methods of healing. But HIS healing were immediate, totally affective (None of this – walk it out) and never reoccurring! Henry says he doesn’t care if you die if you do not take your medication: high blood pressure, diabetics, heart regulator medications and so on. GOD CARES FOR US!

I want to make this perfectly clear why I ever posted my 2 postings. When I said expose Henry Wright it is because he spiritually rapes people by brainwashing them. There were pastors from all over the world there studying under him. Even a bible society from London UK. If you were physically raped wouldn’t you want the rapist to be exposed and caught? I still kept the faith after leaving because I did and do have Jesus first in my life. Remember the Bible says in the last days that even the elect would be deceived if it were possible.

  7. IamHealed Says:

With all due respect, you can argue theory, but not with a testimony. Gravely ill, I went to Henry W. Wright’s ministry in Georgia over 5 years ago. I sat through the classes, an unsaved, unbeliever when I got there. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior while I was there. I came home and began my walk-out of devastating illnesses. God healed me of every disease! I returned to go through the classes again over the years, not because I was addicted (as you mention Cindy), but because I was a new Christian and I had a lot to learn. I lived, ate, breathed, and shared the principles taught there, (and still do). My life was on the line. As I applied these principles each day and progressed in the sanctification process, God was faithful to heal my body of all the disease. Complete restoration not only of my body, but my heart, soul, relationships, finances, and more. (Which was a major bonus as my original motivation for going was only physical healing). God healed me of stage 4 cancer and much more. I have witnessed countless, (in the thousands) of others healed before and after me as well… as they applied the same biblical principles taught at Be In Health in Thomaston, Georgia, (founded by Henry W. Wright, author of ‘A More Excellent Way’). God bless you in your journey.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

I am gravely concerned for your spiritual well being. I praise God that you are healed of all your diseases and especially for your salvation. Obviously God got your attention. There are a lot of good meaning Christians in Henry Wrights ministry as there are in all churches. I’m also thrilled that you are wanting to learn more about God. You need to rightly learn how to divide God’s word. I have a few questions for you. If you were wanting to learn about banking would you go to a reputable school or one with no certifications? If you want to become a doctor would you seek to be admitted to a medical school with a reputation or learn your trade from old wise tales? Please seek a place other than Henry Wright if you really want to understand God’s word in truth. How many people have died because they trusted Henry Wright and came off their prescribed medications? How many children have died because their parents prayed but did not take their children to the doctor for what would have been a simple procedure? How many believers go to Henry’s camp and come home dejected? Or how many have given up their faith because they are not healed? Is God in control or are you? Are there times God may not want a person to be heal? Like Paul and Timothy in the Bible. May the Lord open your eyes to the deceptions that Henry Wright’s ministry. May the Lord increase your knowledge of truth and bless you with his bountiful gifts.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Praise the Lord for your healing both spiritually and physically. My concern is the negative view Henry Wright has concerning doctors and medicine and his twisting of scripture to suit his needs. Legitimate churches, movements, and individuals do not equal – using drugs or receiving proper medical attention with unbelief, insufficient faith, or otherwise sinning against God.

The Bible does mention incidences of faith healing:

Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. {12} As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance {13} and called out in a loud voice, “Jesus, Master, have pity on us!” {14} When he saw them, he said, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were cleansed. {15} One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. {16} He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked him–and he was a Samaritan. {17} Jesus asked, “Were not all ten cleansed? Where are the other nine? {18} Was no one found to return and give praise to God except this foreigner?” {19} Then he said to him, “Rise and go; your faith has made you well.”
      - Source: Luke 17:11-19 Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. {15} And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. {16} Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.
      - Source: James 5:14-16

I do believe that all healings occurring only through the grace of God the one who holds all our cells along with the universe together. Just as he allow it to rain on the just and unjust. He heals unbelievers and believers at his sovereign will. Scientifically speaking, 60% of ALL ailments (including cancer) heal without any intervention for believers and nonbelievers. In light of this, what does the bible say?

The Bible does not condemn, forbid, or even discourage the use of medicines or other proper medical care.

Matter of fact, Luke, who wrote the Gospel of Luke, was a doctor.

And the apostle Paul advised Timothy to use some wine for his stomach problems:

Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.
      - Source: 1 Timothy 5:23

Note, too, that Paul does not criticize Timothy for his “frequent illnesses.” Nor does he even suggest that Timothy’s illnesses indicate a spiritual problem such as lack of faith. Instead, Timothy is seen as a spiritual leader and a good example to all.

While Jesus healed many people himself, he spoke of physicians in a positive way:

On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
      - Source: Mark 2:17

False teachings, many associated with the word-faith movement blame sickness on anything from unbelief to sin, and often tie promises of healing to slick pitches for financial contributions. Christ never told those he held to now pay your tithe faithful so you don’t fall back into sickness.

Many preachers make false claims about alleged faith healings, or – when asked for verifiable accounts – come up with next to nothing (e.g. Benny Hinn and Henry Wright). Why aren’t all those testimonial in the back of “A More Excellent Way” verified by the medical community?

Claims of miracles occurring at these services (or in distant countries where they cannot be verified) are multiplying and becoming more and more wildly unbelievable all the time. Those who do not accept second hand accounts of miracles giving no names or facts are derided as lacking “faith,” refusing to believe what does not fit “their own tradition,” or “putting God in a box.” “Cessationist” has become a dreadful thing to be labeled. It is amazing to see how many succumb to this peer pressure and check their minds at the mention of the word “miracle.” Yet so far there have not been any medically verified, true, supernatural, biblical miracles; it is pretty much the traditional faith healing story, with most claims concerning those ailments most susceptible to emotional influence, as in all the religions and systems of thought centered on producing healings.
      - Source: “Reaching the Lost” with Signs & Wonders, The Way of Cain
Christians are often confused about the ministry of healing, but these biblical teachings clearly appear:

I received this e-mail from a friend. In agreement we pray for Henry Wright and his full recovery, for the effectiveness of the medical staff serving him, the potency of the medicines to bring him to full health and the hand of the Lord to be on the entire situation.

“Dear Iren, Hope you are having a good Summer. I am doing well. I wanted you to join in prayer with me about something. This past Thursday, Henry Wright had Open Heart Surgery. I have been praying that while he is now flat on his back, for the most part anyway, that the Holy Spirit will greatly convict him of the wrong doing that he has created in peoples lives. For using his degree in psychiatry to help him brainwash people, for separating families, misquoting the scriptures, ect ect ect!!!!!!! For God to destroy the works of the devil down South, and everywhere elese this cultic word has spread. For eyes and ears to open up, and truly hear what the word of the Lord has spoken! I am going to take this opportunity to flood heaven with my prayers. For as the Lord God departed the Red Sea, may He move and make a way for His people to flee from this cult in Jesus Mighty Name! Thank you for your prayers, In His Love, Cindy P “

      With God’s grace and humility,
      Iren

      • wrightiswrong Says:

Thank you for your insightful comments Here are some notes I have taken by Death by Faith and other sources.

What is right with Faith healers: They have faith in God. They believe that God can cure all diseases.

What is wrong with faith healers:
They make promises that they can not keep. Promises for the ever gullible. Henry Wright is very selective about where he is willing to travel to heal people. It should be noted too that his healings are carefully orchestrated . He will not minister to many who are NOT considered a good healing risk. A good candidate would be one whose ailment is possible psychosomatic. He called if discerning their level of faith but it’s more than than.
The most heart-breaking stories involve people who have incurable organic sickness and are desperate for a last chance. They listen to anyone who can give them hope and they will do anything to preserve their life, sometimes even believing a lie for some hope!
Faith healers can ruin peoples health and lives by their teachings.
Numerous people who have been influenced by this teaching have said that they stood on the word for people dying, and stated that this person is not going to die and they died. And their faith becomes crushed because they thought they heard God say they would live. How? By someone else usually telling them by his stripes we are healed. They may not directly tell the people to get rid of their insulin or other medicines but they encourage this by stating emphatically that it is a promise of God to heal all by faith.
Most deny reality at best and lie at worst.
        * it is more harmful to believe in fantasy than to face the reality of truth and have time to do something about it.
        * People mock the church because of a false testimony. The truth matters to people, and nothing can hurt the truth more than outlandish unproven assertions of supernatural power that does not take place. Why should we believe tremendous miracles take place just because someone says so?
        * Satan to God (Job 2:4) “Skin for skin, yes, all that a man has, will he give for his life “
Within the faith healers own families they can not heal.
Furthermore, almost all the faith teachers wear glasses. It’s right there on their face as they tell you that you can be healed and call out all the diseases people are being healed of. God made it so you can’t miss their contradiction, but many do. Why? Because they do not know how to listen with discernment, they believe almost every word these men say verbatim. How sad.
By his stripes we are heal. Are we healed of our sicknesses at the cross and not for our sins?
Hundreds of children and adults die because they are denied medical treatment.
        * Real faith in truth does not kill, so what is going on? People are dying from these men’s teachings and proclamations of people being healed.
        * Did anyone die after Jesus pronounced them healed? Of course not
        * Do we care for the people who are being deceived by these false promises? The faith of some men become a license to kill.
        * Real healing from God are immediate, totally successful and not reoccurring at a later date.
        * Real healing of Jesus were not psychosomatic. These are the healings that Henry Wright is successful with!
        * Some healing is the result of the wonderful way humans have been created by an all-wise God and not anything that this ministry had done.
People believe that they have heard from God – that they will live and yet they die.
        Words are powerful.
Where in the bible does it say that I have the power to create reality with my words?
They discourage the use of medication. Your faith will make you well. But alas many die.
God sovereignty is taken out of the pictures. Man is in control . The original sin!
        * Whatever happened to “Thy will be done”.
It is not by the amount of our faith that has God heal us. God can heal even if there is little faith represented. God is not bound to heal by our declaration of faith; healing rests in His sovereign will and timing.
        * God can cure all diseases just as God will destroy all the wicked ones of the world and will rid the world of wickedness during the seven years of the Time of Jacobs Trouble. (God’s Timing is everything) Romans 1:18,19: “For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hinder the truth in unrighteousness; because that which is known of God is manifested in them; For God manifested it unto them. ”
Faith healers undermine Christina witness to the general public
When researchers are given list of people who have been cured they find that non prove to have been a genuine Devine cure.
Miracles don’t convince people to put their faith in Jesus. Or Jesus’ own family would have been convinced.
God also has the power to destroy all wickedness, but he has chosen not to.
        Healings in non believers
There are many documented cases where people who were dying prayed to god of their own religion (and imagination) and were healed. There are numerous documented cases where people who were sick and dying had made no claim to faith, used prayer, or even believed in God, had a miraculous cure. How are these explained? You could be sure if a faith-healer was nearby they would find a way to attribute it to their ministry. Biblical faith is not blind or irrational. It is time for the people of God to demand more than anecdotal stories from those claiming the power of the apostles.

I have some major concerns about Henry Wright. First of all he never attended any credited seminary. He is a psychology major and a very good one at that. He knows how to manipulate people. Any ministry that tells their follower to abandon family if their disagree with his teaching is a cult and must he hiding heretical teachings. They don’t what their followers to hear the truth or to even question their misconception. He definitely is in the same line as Katherine Kuhlmand/Oral Roberts. Henry like Benny Henn, Derek Prince and others are and have made millions of dollars off of poorly versed followers. If you are not an astute bible student than Henry can totally deceive you.

      A few of his deception:
the title of his book: A More Excellent way is not the eradication of disease but the need for more love.

  9. Dale Dueck Says:

After having examined Henry Wright’sbook in detail, it is obvious that he has tremendous passion and zeal for his subject matter. His book must be commended for its desire to draw a solid connection between unforgiveness and human illness.
The unfortunate problem is that Henrys passion and zeal are undone by his inability to rightlydivide the Word of Truth. There are so many interpretational errors in his writing that one has wonder if he even knows how to study the Bible in context.
One prime example is his handling of Exodus 15:26 and Deuteronomy 28. His ignornace of the purpose of these texts has led him to make statements that are so obviously wrong that even a first year Bible Colege student could spot and refute the errors. Wright states on p.76 and p.125of his 2009 edition, “it is important to note that curses do not come from God. They come form Satan.” He makes similar assrtions on p.125. From even a surface contextual reading of Ex and Deut one can clearly see that Satan has no part in the curses described in Deut 28. The blessing and curse formula outlined in Deut 28 is a standard part of the Suzerain Vassal Treaty formula familiar to those in the Ancient Near East. God’s curses in Deut 28 are a valid part of the penalty for disobedience to the covenant. The same is true for Ex 15:26. God will bring diseases on Israel as he did on Egypt as a repsonse to disobedience. Wright’s exegetical skill is sadly lacking. No amount of passion and zeal can replace solid interpretational and exegetical skills.
There are too many errors in his application of NT passages to list here.

    • davesd Says:

Absolutely correct. Wright is a neophyte at biblical exegesis. As a result, he feels free to rip passages from their original contexts and pour a foreign interpretation into them to advance his scripturally baseless conclusions. I have often listened to his presentations and shook my head at the many missteps he takes with scripture. You are correct – any first year Bible student or seminarian would shudder at Wright’s ineptitude with the Bible.

  10. Dr Nancy McGuire Says:

There must be balance. We as individual Christians do not have a corner on the Truth. By that I mean we are not going to know the whole picture. Yet the Lord does want us to know truth—His precepts. It has been my experience that when people are sick, invariably their spirit is affected as well as the body and the mind. I do believe that there are spirits of infirmity that can manifest as physical illness. If Jesus dealt with this spirit, did it just leave the earth or are such entities here today (Luke 13:10-17)? The Church needs to get it together in regard to a biblical worldview. There definitely needs to be better understanding regarding the theology of healing and the gifts of the Holy Spirit and we need it soon. Medicine can do nothing in the instances where there is a spiritual problem and believe me we are dealing with them daily. Instead of criticism, we need to pray for God’s wisdom and discernment and for each other.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

      Dear Nancy,
Thank you for comments. My efforts with this blog is not to impart criticism for it’s own sake but to the reveal truth. If I do not speak the truth, in what I say, please call me on it. Let iron sharpen iron so both of us can be better enlightened.

You are most correct in stating that we do not have the corner on the Truth. GOD does! God does want us to know his precepts. So let us dig into his word and pray that HE will give us discernment. Too many of us don’t read our bibles and if we do we don’t spend a lot of time studying HIS word in context of the bible, the book, the chapter and the verse. Studying individual words without context is quite futile. Most of us have not been taught how to divide God’s word properly. We don’t understand the basics of hermeneutics. Therefore, when we hear a pastor promise healing and no more trials and tribulations we jump for it and many are wounded and some so stricken that they leave the faith altogether. We don’t understand how Satan can us God’s word to deceive us just like Satan tried to deceive Christ in the wilderness. Jesus knew God’s word and could combat Satan with the truth. Being a Christian is not a free ride here on earth. Our hope is in Christ and his heavenly kingdom.

Yes, I do agree with you that many of our infirmities are caused by the evil inside of us and from outside of us. As our country appears to be less and less of a Christian force the evil in our country and the world does appear to be growing.

No one will argue with you that the body, mind and spirit are not connected, any psychologist can tell you that. Each follower of Christ needs to be better at listening, serving and praying for each other. The Morman faith appears to have a better understanding of this than most of us so. What I am seeing is a lot of “ME” centeredness. I believe we need to hear more from pulpits of giving of ourselves, not just to our Christian friends but to non-believes as well. I need to be more of a doing and not just a listener.

What a glorious thing to be able to administer to the health needs of your patience both physically and spiritually and emotionally. You must be quite a blessing if you can take the time in your practice to do that in truth. May the Lord honor your work as you serve HIM thought others.

i can assure you Henry W Wright may have his flaws like all of us, but he is doing more good than most. any ministry that encourages you to get to the root of your sins is closer to God’s word than those who don’t. if you had a serious illness, followed Be In Healths steps and training and were healed you would be rejoicing. it depends if a person chooses to look serious at all their sins within or chooses to be prideful and not recognise them. if you want all junk gone then Wow -you will end in great joy.

    • sandy Says:

      Hi,
you’ve got nothing to worry about Pastor Henry Wrights ministry -its a good ministry – ‘ wrightiswrong’ blog is in error – they did not follow all the precepts correctly of this ministers steps -unless a person sincerely desires truth and a clean up of all their sins and judgments, they will not be healed -they may even leave the ministry in much judgments and critisism instead of owning their own problems correctly. it happens time and time again -the easy fix is to blame a ministry for their ongoing problems instead of facing it themselves. a person may come under oppression when prayed over of desiring to overcome because the enemy does not want christians totally healed and whole with a real cause for God’s kingdom to journey through this life abundant and free -to a long good life.

  13. sandy Says:

just be very careful in your judgements – Henry W Wright encourages people to get to the root of their sin -something so many do not want to do and therefore blame. if you read his books in the right way and not with slanted view, you may appreciate this mans encouragement to you to live a Holy pure and upright life. really it is so simple. i’ve done For My Life and listened to many of his inspirational teachings from God’s word and they have changed my life forever. pick up your bed and walk -dig deep to your roots of sin and rid the bitterness, anger, hatred, jealousy and all that junk and just you wait and see. may God bless you all and bring you to the truth.

you have something to complain about when the church does not teach repentance from all our sin, or disabling issues. consider the churches full of hype -claiming healing for peoples lives and does not -that is rampant. at least Be In Health point to the sin, root issues and that is Biblical -so very Biblical.

” he never attended any credited seminary” – take note “wrightiswrong” – the bible doesn’t state you have to go to a credited seminary – the bible heroes didn’t and it’s certainly not a sin if you don’t today. Read your Bible from front to back cover before you continue this pitiful website that is out to curse a ministry that is in fact used to awaken this generation today.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Thank you for your blog. Bless all the pastors who encourage their flocks to look deep into their hearts to see what pride is doing in their lives and to others. I am always convicted by how evil I am in comparison to Christ. I really don’t know much, but the purpose of this blog is hopefully make people aware of what I discern from my studies to be false teachings.

I say “AMEN” to ridding ourselves of bitterness, anger, hatred, jealousy and all that junk. I don’t feel bitter, angry, hatful or jealous toward others. My heart goes out to everyone who is deceived. To anyone who has believed teachers like Henry and have stopped needed medications and have lost loved ones before their time. I don’t believe in the Name and Claim it faith healers either. That is just as un biblical as Be in Health is. Please be careful “A More Excellent Way” is full of bible verses that make it appear biblical. They are used out of context with scripture twisting. Instead of reading Henry’s book dig into the Bible! A more excellent way in the bible does not refer to better health but more love!

Christians are often accused of “judging” whenever they speak out against a sinful activity. However, that is not the meaning of the Scripture verses that state, “Do not judge.” There is a righteous kind of judgment we are supposed to exercise—with careful discernment (John 7:24). When Jesus told us not to judge (Matthew 7:1), He was telling us not to judge hypocritically.

In Matthew 7:2-5, Jesus warns against judging someone else for his sin when you yourself are sinning even worse. That is the kind of judging Jesus commanded us not to do. If a believer sees another believer sinning, it is his Christian duty to lovingly and respectfully confront the person with his sin (Matthew 18:15-17). This is not judging, but rather pointing out the truth in hope—and with the ultimate goal—of bringing repentance in the other person (James 5:20) and restoration to the fellowship. We are to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15). We are to proclaim what God’s Word says about sin. 2 Timothy 4:2 instructs us, “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage — with great patience and careful instruction.” We are to “judge” sin, but always with the goal of presenting the solution for sin and its consequences—the Lord Jesus Christ (John 14:6).

I attended one of Henry’s seminars and in the beginning I wanted very much for his message to be the answer to all my trails and tribulations. I had read the bible several times and I ended the weekend walking away sensing incongruence between what Henry was saying and God’s word. I have read Henry Wright’s book “A More Excellent Way” several times and I have studied it intensely. I have studied all the verses he quoted to understand the full context of what God had to say to us and I found many errors in Henry’s book.

If I read the Koran or the Book of Mormon with the right way and not slanted would I become a believer of Mormon or a Muslim? It is not reading books in the right way but reading the Bible in truth without scripture twisting using proper hermeneutics that matters. If I listened to more tapes on the Muslim faith would that make it the truth?

Please take time to explore proper hermeneutics and study your Bible not Henry Wright!

      • sandy Says:

no, not when you are in heresay – trying to reach the whole world with your grievances and interpretations or slanted views – many thousands have been given ‘life’ because of this ministry. there are far worse ministries than Be In Health I can assure you of that. Pastor Henry has taken things steady – he’s had opportunity to work with the medical profession, i’m sure he continues to seek the Lord for the best wisdom that God can give to him -everyone in leadership always comes under overwhelming pressures and may make mistakes, but through their confessions and repentance they are forgiven by the Lord. a more excellent way is a top seller and is a good book for every home to have on hand – why don’t you pull every book written apart as i’m sure YOU will find fault with every page any christian has written. i’m speaking the truth. wake up and stop tryiing to pull the man down -leave that to God.

  14. sandy Says:

actually, what is happening here is this: those of you who curse this ministry need to take a look at yourselves as blame is a big game in this life. you don’t get healed or whole, so therefore blame- focus on the Lord God of the Heavens and earth, focus on your own wrong, confess and make right . there is a demon spirit at work to word twist and put a slant on some ministries that is in fact enlarged and twisted to suit your own thoughts. the enemy succeeds in this twisted mentality so often (your blogs portray a good man bad -your blogs sounds so true and right -your blogs are a twisted demonic mindset away from the truth. take this blog site down and spend your time with something profitable and may God bless you and guide you to the truth. for everyone of us Ephesians 6 (Armor of God) is something incredible to put on each day as we dig deep to overcome our own insecurities and bondages in life. the enemy tries to destroy, but what satan means for bad, God turns out for good.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Again, you make statements that are not backed up with facts. Again, I do not curse any ministry or anyone because that has never been my intent. you seem to LOVE straw man arguments…. why is that?

Mr. Wrong train you do be that way, eh?

    • Scooter B Says:

I find it quite ironic that a teaching which blames the sick for not getting healed, assumes the fault is their own (sometimes this may be true and sometimes not) and falls into judgement of them would be so critical of having an incorrect theology called into account. In the 5th chapter of John 5:5-14 we see a healed by Jesus first and called to repentance not until in the temple vs 14 after the healing. I am not advocating a lack of repentance but Jesus did not make it a prerequisite in His ministry. The Roman centurion was neither called into repentance first before healing his daughter….Jesus marveled at the centurions faith and responded without condition. John chapter 9:1-5 also CLEARLY contradicts the teaching that anyone born with a genetic disease is secondary to the sin and/or curse of his/her parents. I can’t say that this never happens but I can with full Biblical authority according to the words of Jesus himself state that some people are born with either genetic diseases and/or birth defects that have no basis in being secondary to sin (other than living in a fallen world). Henry Wright alternates using the terms “in most cases” and “always” in equating the same various diseases to certain types of sin or generational curses. “In most cases” is hard to statistically verify in any way but that does not make it untrue alone. Using “Always” in these cases clearly contradicts the red letters in John 9:1-5. While I have been in the process of reading A More Excellent Way on almost every page I have had to make notes where verses are taken out of context or positions contradict other passages of Scripture. The Word when correctly divided does not ever contradict it’s self. If your interpretation is found in contradiction to other passages in Scripture you cannot simply overlook it because you like the results you have seen. You must adjust your interpretation to match scripture. In my interpreting the Bible class two of the hallmarks of a cult are 1. An insistence on using one and only particular version of the Bible to explain their teaching. 2. Claiming to have a unique insight to the Scripture that no one else has. I am not saying these two things alone place this ministry into the classification of a cult but those are two very big red flags right off the bat.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        Scooter,

You’re on the right track… this IS a cult.

        RED FLAG’S ABOUND.

…and it only gets worse and worse the deeper you dig…

  15. 123angelCindy Pruss Says:

My friend is a true example of a Christ Bearer. You see, her daughters were taken away by Henry Wright. He told them to stay away from their Mother because she does not believe in his teachings. When I came back from Georgia, my mother called down there and told them how disturbed I was when I returned , and that the teachings were not right. Thank God I never returned there, because I just lost my mother to ovarian cancer. How sad it would have been if Henry had brainwashed me into not seeing my mother again. This ministry has got to stop! People are being so deceived. We are all going to die someday, including Henry Wright. I pray that he heals from his very recent open heart surgery, but not only that, that his diabolical mind recovers also.

  16. sandy Says:

-some think they have a right to judge when there is in fact a BLOCKAGE in their own lives -because of past opened doors the enemy is convincing many they are right, right, right when in fact they are wrong, wrong, wrong. we can think we are SO, SO right, when in fact we are SO, SO WRONG. be careful. be so very careful. the influence of demonic over a persons life because of previous opened doors -unless those doors of sin are closed the influences of the enemy abstract from the real truth in a persons life and cause them to discect a ministers words of encouragement -every paragragh taken and critisised into a slanted version against truth. i’ve seen this happen so often, though when we are willing, absolutely willing and ready to rid every bit of junk from within us, we move past all the bitterness and hurts of another man into a new and great thing for our lives. Isaiah 43v18, 19 -absolutely refreshing wonderful verses for God’s direction and encouragement for our lives. lay off Henry W Wright -He’s a good man in the process of great change and he is being used for such a time as this in thousands of lives across this world. God is changing him every day – get him out of your box and leave God do His work in Pastor Henry. if i were you, it’s in your best interest to close this blog down -get rid of it in Jesus Christ’s name -it’s a curse to a great ministry.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Thanks for your advice and concern. You have nothing to worry about. God is in control and will always be! It sounds like you did NOT read what the bible says about judging and curses.

The first 17 verses of Isaiah 43 declare that the people need not fear since God has redeemed them and called them by name and claims to own/possess them. God’s presence with them as well as Divine ransom paid for them dispels any (further) fear. God promises to gather people from every nation to them, to unite them all and in reminding them of previous salvation from traumas, like the Babylonian Exile, for example, proclaims them to be His servants, witnesses and own people. 18 “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. 19 See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. The final three verses find a challenge to the recipients.. It confirms past sinfulness and judgments. No where here does it say to look at demonic forces left open but to forget them. Repent of the sins that the Holy Spirits convicts you of and then rest in the Lord!
You are right it is a beautiful passage!

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Can you please tell me where in the bible I can find the idea of blockages? Henry has some 33 blocks of these to justified someone not being healed but I can not find it in the bible. What I do find is that we are suppose to pray with faith and continually and then trust in the sovereignty of the Lord. It you have a change to read the book “Life without Limits” you will see how even a person without arms and legs can bless God and do a might work for HIM. An awesome book!

      • sandy Says:

i would like to reply to this and please read it prayerfuly with a very open mind to the truth: i don’t really need to quote scriptures as you know the Bible very well . i grew up learning verses every week, so i know many also – my replies on this blog are a general overview because Henry Wright has been just one of the ministers of many I’ve been blessed by. i have heard other ministers of deliverance use the term BLOCKS TO HEALING. these may not be specifically in God’s word, but there are verses that relate to every area of life for us and those blocks can very possibly be a problem because they are part of the problem of our fallen human nature – there is nothing wrong with practical examples to allow us to see the light. the 33 blocks to healing are a way to have us take a deep look within our hearts – to cleanse -to purify – to purge the sins and junk away. they are an extention of the 8 Rs to freedom. they help us define sin for what it really is. the idea of Henry’s teachings are to allow our lives to turn around away from religion and bondage and back to the word of God, to focus on the Lord, not on Henry Wright but on the Lord. that is what the whole crux of his ministry is about, regardless of conflicting views, if we have the training of For my Life for example when we are in bondage, and all of us have baggage – we are not made anew immediatelly at the time of salvation -our lifetime is a journey of change and challenge -always desiring change -it gets into our system and lights God’s words to us. it renews our mind away from religious strongholds it depends on how serious we are as a born again believer, how quickly the greatest freedom comes to live a life more abundant. after doing For My Life 18mths ago, i got the principles of it into my heart and it has made me a much stronger woman of God. God’s words are clearer to me. I’m able to inspire others who are struggling. i now know how to defeat rejection because i worked hard to have it removed- it was deep, deep rejection -i had to see myself as God sees me and all the other bondages like jealousies, fear and the other subjects they teach -it gets into our inner being and the blockages of the enemy to hold us back is released because we’ve allowed our mind to be renewed as unto the mind of Christ. its training to undo all the deep seated junk we’ve brought into adulthood from our past. it’s great and many people would not be drawn to the truth if they can’t hear a minister preach this positive stuff to us, that is certainly drawing us back to God. the Holy Spirit working miraculousy because He uses men and woman of God to help others. i see the ministry of Be In Health as inspiring to all those who GET IT if I could put it like that. a minister encouraging us that we can do it according to God’s word. as we live in such a fallen world, so many lives are defeated and heartbroken, the pain of some is so very deep and hopeless. God allows us to relate in a practical way to help the wounded arise – why not have a list of blocks to healing if in the practical sense allow us to see our flaws. the 33 blocks Henry lists are a fact of life as a way to move a heartbroken person back to the scriptures which give the ultimate future and hope. if the church had trained like this instead of apathy and watered down gospel, maybe there wouldn’t need to be the Be In Health ministries today, but God allows it for ‘such a time as this’ because we are living in a world of horrible sin as in the days of sodom and gomorrah. May God bless you and enlighten you to His wonderful truths and freedom

  17. sandy Says:

I forgot to say – it was a miracle how Be In Health ministry came in my path -a miracle, because God knew my seeking heart and He has done it so many times -presenting ministry that “just pops” in my path after diligent prayer. yes, i sus it out but it’s usually ministry that is such inspiration and hope to my life and family. I had been seeking the Lord about healing for about a year -really seeking Him and telling Him I wanted the truth -how to line up God’s word with healing -then checking for a friend who had a very tough childhood, a deliverance ministry in US advised us that they were basing the spiritual roots of disease from Be In Health Ministry and the book “a more excellent way” because in their many yrs of deliverance have found this to be very fruitful. we’ve been connected to this deliverance ministry for 7 yrs and they have seen miracle after miracle -people delivered from homosexuality, lesbianism, anger, judgements, hatred, word twisting, deception etc etc – people are free, free, freeeeee. Can I just say to you that when we begin a journey of change, if we are fair dinkum and really want to step out, we can come under some severe attack from the enemy because of our desires -we’ve got to know God’s word to shake off the darkness and oppression that comes over us – cry out -ask God to take it away in Jesus name and then move onto the next level – then again attack -then cry out and overcome. that’s all very biblical and how the characters in the Bible overcame. they got serious with the Lord -they moved on through change in their inner hearts -a cutting away of junk. Eph 6 -putting on the armor of God is one of the lifesavers of Christianity -putting it on everyday – (but with it we must clean up our act -clean up our misconceptions -clean up our judgements -a desire within us to ” create in me a new heart O God”, move on past the setbacks and past hurts to a new future and hope in Christ Jesus. we’ve got to know how to go home after ministry weeks like For My Life – after Deliverance sessions -after prayer and stay free by walking in Obedience and persistance with the Lord. by rising up in Jesus Christ name and shaking off the enemy’s influences of oppression over our lives. Crying out to the Lord in prayer is absolutely wonderful, refreshing, life transforming and we are changed and made into a light for Jesus for others to see. i trust i have encouraged you. once you get past the tough hard and rocky road of dealing with junk, the Christian walk becomes much easier and just beautiful. Obviously more percentage of people attending Be In Health are blessed than not, so may God bless and keep you and restore you to a special place.

  18. sandy Says:

you’ve successfully attempted to expand on my words with your interpretation eg. Isaiah 43v18,19. I was making a positive point for a new thing in our lives – i wasn’t referring these verses to demonic or whatever. there are not too many other Christian leaders presenting a more excellent way, a road of hope, -not too many are able to present a message that is in fact releasing people from disease like Henry W Wright does. it’s an awesome ministry – he and their team are not perfect, but they are on a great journey of change helping many. and did you know that the bible does not command that leaders go to seminary -did you know that -God’s Holy Spirit is alive and active leading men and women of God to help others in supernatural mighty ways. -to A MORE EXCELLENT WAY! we practice the 8 R’s to freedom and all the fine tuning of our sins and junk with the 8 R’s and wow -mighty things take place. try it and you will see.

      EXPAND ON WORDS W/ INTERPRETATION???

  19. sandy Says:

possibly if you persisted with Henry W Wrights training, you would be more changed and free person today -if you moved past the setbacks and showed a bit of grace -yes, you would be a really free person today as Henry W Wright is a man after God’s own heart who seeks intimate times with the Lord and cries out to Him often. again -get him out of your box as he like you and I does have some flaws but he is changeable -desiring a renewed mind and heart. as a leader, he is more a focus, but Henry is willing and ready to be a new person for God daily. when we walk with God, what we were 10 yrs ago is not what we are today. what we were 5 yrs ago is not what we are today. what we were 6mths ago is not what we are today NOTE: IF WE ARE SEEKING CHANGE DAILY. This blog is wrong -you think you have the right to judge and put wright wrong -but as a man after God’s own heart out there doing a very good thing, you have no right but pray. you are trying to influence minds of people who may feel led and with prospects to be greatly helped by the ministry of Be In Health. just imagine what is on you if you lead people away from a unique ministry that could save their life. this blog is an utter work of the enemy – no doubt about that -i’ve felt led to come back and add because you need to have the truth and the truth to set you free.

Henry Wright is not the only ministry that has the corner on saving peoples souls. You accuse me of being judgmental and then you are judging this blog as being the work of the enemy. If you want to reason with truth then give me some statements of truth that I have falsified.

  20. sandy Says:

Yes, in Jesus Christ name -this blog is from evil intent -though people portray their views with ‘their’ Biblical followup, dissect every paragraph -it is evil and designed to bring a ministry down -to condemn – there is no benefit for such a blog -it does not lift anyone up but pursues evil intent against God’s ministry to seeking hearts. it is a word-twisting, perverted slant of the evil one to destroy a ministry God has designed for great purpose. the devil hates a ministry who encourages people to get to the roots of their sin issues -he absolutely detests it and will do anything to destroy the man at the leadership and a ministry with nothing but great Godlly, Kingdom intent. I pray against this blog that it will achieve nothing -that it will be destroyed. really in 12mths there isn’t too much response -think about it -whats the real purpose!!! go and start a blog against Christians who promote gay activity and you will benefit greatly -not a blog against a man of God who is doing a work rich for God’s kingdom……..God bless you rich

    • wrightiswrong Says:

The purpose of this blog is to give information to those who are seeking the truth about Henry Wright’s ministry. How do you know what the intent of this blog is? Are you being judgmental? God has allowed this blog to exist. God will lead those who need to hear my message to this blog. I have nothing against Henry Wright personally. It would thrill me to no end to have him continue his ministry in an orthodox manner. I know people who have asked him to rewrite his book and even volunteered to him him rewrite”A More Excellent Way” so that it was not so disorganized and full of errors. He is not open to the change that you claim that he is seeking. Have I put you down in anyway? I have been trying to encourage you to seek the truth. As two Christians we should be able to reason together for the faith but you respond emotionally with generalities not with biblical reasoning by attacking this blog. Reason with me. Where am I mistaken?

Take rest in the peace of Christ. HE is in control.

I really don’t think name calling is necessary. That is our human aspect coming out, which is why God sent us his son. Which is why we need our saviour. Christians aren’t perfect- we are forgiven. God gives us all free will, he warns us that many will come in his name that are not from him (speaking of HW). The deception is so crafty that they even may convince the elite. Which is why God tells us to have an answer to everyman and to be able to reason out of the scriptures.. God’s word is infallible. Henrys doctorine is not. I know he waves his Bible around, but the Mormons also carry their bible around and use various scriptures. Does that make them right ?- No , why? Because they do not follow the teaching of the whole bible, but what was recieved from the Angel of Light that their founder spoke with (Joseph- I believe- it’s been awhile). Now Henry agrees it is not the angel of Light that he got his info from.. But, No Doubt in my mind it was another form. The devil carry’s many disguises, and is very crafty! He comes not to steal, but to kill and destroy. He hates us because we are created in the image of God Almighty, and nothing is off limits. It is a battle for souls. Think of all those people who thought their doctor prescribed drugs were evil and died, but since Henry’s new revelation, doctor prescribed drugs are not demonic. This tells me that (aside from all the scripture mistakes) his information is NOT coming from the Almighty, because God DOESNTmake mistakes. Henry learned from this experience because it was life and death. But out of his own “ministry” you can’t oppose the teaching because they say it is a demon. If he will not stand to be reasoned with then how will he continue to grow, and how many people will not experience this life as a gift from God? But die in despair. Actually this HW – Be in Health organization is very similiar to the Jehovah Witness organization. (Control, Fear and Isolation.) Only they changed the word of God by removing scriptures, Will Henry?

I believe in being prepared in speaking the word of God in outreach, there is NO WAY I could ever follow Be In Health teaching because I could not use the Bible to back it up.

If the Henry Wright doctorine was something simple like not wearing hats to church then, who cares. But it is bigger than that – he has made himself as the ultimate leader. I’m not saying he is the antichrist, but in the last days even the antichrist will preform signs and miracles (2 Corinthians 11:15)

I believe the intent of this blog is to warn, That’s what God tells us to do. Not our fault Henry’s doctorine cannot compare with God’s word.
God tells us to warn people otherwise their blood is on our hands , but if we warn them and they listen not; then their own blood is on their head. (Ezekiel 3:19)

I have verses to back up everthing I referenced in God’s word.

Sandy I see no intent on this blog to bring a minister down. I do see a clear desire that Henry Wright be restored to Biblical accountability. Even those who felt injured by his false teaching or elements of Biblical interpretive inaccuracies (those that are contradicted within the scripture as a whole) are praying for his recovery of health and that God would help him clearly understand the correct way to divide the word of God. It has been pointed out how the misdeeds of many faith healers have turned potential converts away (Robert Tilton is one I can recall). While Mr Wright does not call himself a faith healer there is a chilling common thread between them which is automatically blaming the sick for a lack of healing. It may be true in some cases but the Bible and Jesus himself (see red letters John 9:1-5) indicate this cannot be assumed as it is clearly shown not to be true in all cases. Those who believe they have been harmed and I can understand why are just as passionate about protecting others from suffering the same hurt as you are about defending him. Two different experiences but in the end there is only one written authority which is the Bible. If a teaching out of the Bible contradicts other scripture we must reject the teaching and try to help the one who is in error while also trying to protect those who might be led astray (even when the motives are good).

  21. sandy Says:

RE CURSES: i do hear what you are saying about curses because I’ve heard your interpretation from others -it’s a conservative view and so offtrack. Jesus Christ died on the cross to have the curse broken, but why are so many people broken, bound and beaten up – i’m talking about Christian people -they can put on a good front but not healed and delivered – they are depressed, not free – lack of knowledge destroys familes (hosea 4v6) i’ve been there myself until we faced a serious trial – see Romans 7 -Paul wanted to do the right thing but failed, he struggled like all of us. Many pastors, leaders and people have claimed freedom and still bound by pornography, rejection, fear, deception etc and want to be free but can’t break it -deliverance ministers are facing pastors all the time with addictive behaviors that try and overcome them. Pastors!!! its a reality – the curse was broken but it doesn’t leave there -in our christian walks we have something to do about it – we must appropriate action to rid the curses from our lives -i’ve come with the power and authority that Jesus Christ gives to us to defeat the enemy and break curses over my life that were in fact generational -there were definete generational curses that I had to take action to remove them from my life -my daily prayers wouldn’t give victory but when i got serious against the devil – wow -the burdens lifted at calvary and release came. the old testament Deuteronomy speaks of curses but if you come from the mindset i think you do, you don’t use the old testament for application today. they are real believe me – you see it time and time again with alcoholics, anger, abuse etc from grandfather, to father to son etc until someone chooses to defeat it. i could quote more but you seek the Lord for yourself with an open mind. we come from a conservative church background and faced a situation 14yrs ago that we never dream we would face -after serious crying out in prayer to our Father God over a period of seeking, He answered us with the term “generational curse” -we’d never heard it before -2 tape sets by Pastor Larry Huch turned up on our doorstep and we couldn’t believe how it confirmed what we were going through. God was enlightening us to more of His word -He was illuminating His word -enlarging His word through this pastor. other christian magazines came and we continually were bombarded with the term “generational curses”. God was teaching us through these ministers of faith to help us on our tough journey to be healed and whole. Again I say – deal with the strongholds in your life -seriously deal with them and you will lose the desire to have a blog like this i challenge you to do the “for my life online” course -as you learn of all strongholds that we all have over us, apply them through prayer, you will be a changed person for the Lord. Persevere…persist and you’ll be a winner. just remember, if people follow your present method, they will stay bound – do what Pastor Henry W Wright encourages from God’s word and you will be a free man and see many others freed. May the light of Jesus Christ shine upon you.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Sandy you mentioned Generational Curses. Here is an interesting article that you might find interesting. Biblical Answers to Questions Raised by the phrase “visit the inquities to the third and fourth generation” by Bob DeWaay

If you are interested in this lengthy article I can send it to you via e-mail.

      Conclusion
We need to reject as unbiblical any teaching that says that those who put their hope and trust in Christ are likely cursed. God has pronounced us blessed. Balaam could not curse God’s blessed people, neither can anyone else. The Bible says, “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord And whose trust is the Lord” (Jeremiah 17:7). That is the simple version. The false teachers are hopelessly confused and give no hope or assurance. They put us back in bondage, and thus the teachings themselves and their perpetrators are accursed (Galatians 1:8) according to God’s Word.

When did Mr. Wright have heart surgery? I pray that the doctors were successful and that he has a speedy and complete recovery. Perhaps this will help to change the thoughts he expresses about doctors in his book.
Disease and sickness is generally the downfall of all of the popular “healers” The whole of creation is deteriorating, including them. We will all eventually die. Those who die while abiding IN CHRIST will go to the only place where there is no sickness or disease.
What spin has he put on the heart illness that required doctors’ intervention?

    • wrightiswrong Says:

I believe it was Thursday, 6/23/11. I too would like to know the answer to that question!

      • Eric Says:

Henry Wright did, in fact, have a massive heart attack while running a confrence in Trinidad. He had multiple bypass surgery in responce in Trinidad. While recovering he also wound up with at least 6 infected wounds (primarily at the sights of his incisions.

Also, he suffered congestive heart failure in September 2011.

He posted a 15 minute video with his wife on the Be In Health Facebook page. He says that he has lost over 40 pounds (and it does appear that way from the video.) He says he is doing well and remains strong in his faith.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

Wolf Henry Wrong is reaping what he’s sown, and suffering from self-judgment in his hypocrisy.

After all, he’s only “79% clear of dead works, and that, only from dark grey to light grey in the last 25 years of doing this”… according to HIS OWN WORDS.

        He condemns himself.

        Sad, but true.

  23. 123angelCindy Pruss Says:

Henry Wright had open heart surgery on June 23, 2011. He had suffered a heart atrtack shortly before that date. I don’t know what his theory is on why this happened. But I can tell you he is an older man and extremely overweight. He probably just needed to eat healthier, rest more, and take better care of himself. This Sandy on here says that people aren’t healed at that ministry because they don’t repent and except responsibility for their sin. She cannot answer this for everyone. The Lord’s prayer even says “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” It is not always God’s will to heal. If that were true there would be no cemetaries. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, that ended it for us all. We live in a now fallen world, and NO ONE is excempt from that fact! Death is part of that curse. I always notice how a man reacts to someone questioning his beliefs. If they act like Jesus, then I have some respect for them. If the carry on and on I deeply question them.

I only wish that this blog had been on here when I left my little children, and husband to stay in this cult for six months. I lived, breathed, and witnessed, first hand what this cult is about. The Bilble warns us to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling. It also warns that in the last days even the elect would be deceived if it were possible. We live in a satan filled world of deception. We must always ask God to sharpen His Spirit of Discernment in our lives. Thank you so much World Press for letting me share my story. Now, I will pray about writing a book about what happened.

    • Thomas Anderson Says:

      Cindy,

How did you EVER get “delivered” from this cult after SIX MONTHS being immersed in it?

Please do tell, i’m dying to hear it.

      Thomas

      • Cindy Pruss Says:

Thomas, it took me a very long time to get straightened out. First of all, I was blessed with a praying mother. Secondly, I kept praying and praying myself, for the Holy Spirit to show me the Truth. If you have read all of my comments on here, it was a long hard process. God also led me to a Christian Counselor that kept pointing out Henry’s lies. After being in a cult, your mind keeps going back and forth like a ping pong ball , but the one that gets the glory for bringining me out was my own personal deprogrammer the Holy Spirit. As I’ve pointed out on here so many times one must pray for the spirit of discernment in their lives, and excercise that gift, for such are the days that we live in so deceptive.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        Cindy Pruss,

You’re a miracle; God chose to rescue you, and you wanted to be free for Him and by Him alone.

I am even realizing more and more that if I didn’t get healed from fibromyalgia, I got something much much better, yes it is, and was, and always will be a MIRACLE that I was delivered and set free from that cult! PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME! Thank you Father God! He loves the others as much as He loves me, I know he has deliverance for their precious minds and souls also.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        but Cindy!

Your testimony is worthless! It doesn’t agree with THEIRS!

You must’ve just not believed enough or persevered long enough in Rev. Wrong’s teachings!

You have doubt, you never let go of. Yeah, that’s it! You hold to unbelief, (or some mystery “dead works”. . . )

Whom the sun sets free is free indeed! I am so thrilled to be set free from those mind controlling , spiritual raping, zombie mind set believers! Yes, I had to battle for my life and soul to earn that freedom, but it has been sooooo worth it! I am smiling real smiles, going around with a much lighter heart! Only having to answer to a very loving, forgiving God! It was worth every ounce of my life to get that back again!

Sandy, Thou dost protest too much! It appears to me that you are the one with the problem. It truly appears that you have set up an idol in your heart and are upset with those who would dare attack it. If Henry Wright’s work is of God then there is nothing anyone can do to tear it down. This piddly blog will have no bearing on a true work of God. So RELAX!

  26. David S Says:

I do not wish to have my e-mail flooded with the rantings of this irrational woman any longer. I think that she is a great exhibit for the terrible influence this ministry is having on people. Mr. Wright and Be In Health have become an idol in her heart and she defends him with cult-like fanaticism. She accuses you of doing just what she is doing to you. She will not argue rationally, just like her mentor will not defend his theology because he knows that it won’t stand up. They just want to call names and make unfounded claims. Mr. Wright is no different from the other manipulative, brainwashing frauds of the Word of Faith movement. He just has a more deceptive package for his false teaching

Sandy’s version of Jeremiah 33v3 ” Cry out to Me and I will show you great and mighty things, secret things, fenced in things, absolutely incredible things, wonderful, magnificent, marvellous that only I can tell you.” a bit of an expanded version i’ve been using as a prayer for the last 12mths,

Mr Wrights entire program is extra biblical, supposedly based on revelations God gave directly to him and only to him.
Heb 1:1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
    Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

    Sola Scriptura. Enough said.

this blog is an interpretation of wrightiswrong that is ‘their’ view and it seems a broad view of Christians who claim an absolute right view in their opinion. this view in essence sounds good and right but is not entirely correct with a slant of the evil one. Those in control of this blog beware. this blog portrays a negative blatant view of Henry Wright though there are thousands who have had their lives changed in miracles and set their hearts in right standing with the Lord. what are you doing to change the hearts and lives of people in this world? the pharisees proclaimed they were right, but what impact did they really have? judged, criticized, mocked the works of Jesus. after reading this blog, why not also rag other ministries that are presenting a watered version of the gospel message. this ministry in question is unique in that they preach a way that individuals can understand the Bible in practical ways with the power of the Holy Spirit moving to help them expose their spiritual roots of sin and disease. sin is defined for how the Bible speaks it. this theory of yours may continue, but the truth, intimacy with God, a personal relationship, a Holy devotion to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, our Father God in Heaven, the prince of peace and ruler of this universe is in control of all things, an encouragement to deal with our sin and garbage, an exaltation of His name, a thankful and grateful heart, a desire to be a man or woman after Gods heart, a seeking to create in me a new heart O Lord, a renewal and change of our mind to be of the same mind of Christ, a yearning to be a part of the Great Commission to be used to bring honor and glory to His Holy precious name. this will prove more than anything wrightiswrong portrays on this blog. Ps 103v3, Is 54v17 and the list goes on with a Bible full of encouragement. this ministry Be In Health veers us back to a relationship with a loving God and how to relate to one another reaching those around us and in the market places with a message of Jesus Christ. God allows us to help the unsaved, bound, lost, hurting, divorced, abused, broken-hearted in practical means to draw them to the saving, healing, deliverance message written in His word. stop in your tracks and consider what you do as wright is more right than wright is wrong

You say that this blog sounds good and right but is not entirely correct. Please select one of the many topics or verses that I am incorrect about. I am doing what God has asked all of us to do. 2 Tim 2:15 and 2 Tim 3:15.

i would have to write a book and waste too much of my good time if i had to argue your case – you are no doubt setting yourself as judge and jury – yes do what you must do yourself for your own peace of mind but you don’t have to prove your views to the whole world. it doesn’t matter what a person says to object to this blog, you will have an answer – nothing anyone says against your opinion will win a debate in your eyes as you are always right. take my advice – stand down from your calling to religiously critique this ministry and begin efforts to reach the world as Henry Wright and many other good well meaning imperfect people do. your efforts are to no avail. let God be overall judge of Henry Wright. You’ve been hurt and you want to get back at the man and what they do, your hurt protrudes from this blog. do yourself a favor and own up, take responsibility for your own troubles, forgive the man – stop trying to prove by arguing theory and that you must convince everyone else he is wrong as it won’t do anything to further your journey. please don’t reply and justify your reasons, instead deeply forgive, take ownership of what belongs to you, rid the bitterness and unforgiveness – you have so much to tear the man and ministry down it’s unbelievable. i believe it’s hard, but you must do it – push through and past it all. you have great potential to do greater things -move past the roadblocks and journey forward to great and mighty things for the Kingdom of God. God bless

get an explosive vision for the lost in this world and you will extinguish this blog. we are in a world of false messages with a desensitizing, a conditioning of our minds away from a Biblical training. more harmful than anything the book ‘a more excellent way’ portrays. this book and this ministry is against the devils influences in this world and they (the negative influences) are vast and overwhelming amidst a generation of young children, teenagers and young adults. Harry Potter, Warcraft demonic computer games, dungeons and dragons, a vast array of witchcraft, new age, the secret movement, scorcerers, homosexuality/lesbianism and the increase in governments accepting gay marriage and families, fornication, adultery, living together before marriage is the done thing these days but unbiblical. the list goes on and on. Yes, keep within the confines of truth in the word of God, but these subjects listed here are reality in this lost broken and dying world, many practical steps are needed and are used to reach those lost to this worlds immoralities. we need practical encouragement to bring a people back to the power of His Word and Holy Spirit. Ministries like Be In Health and many others are working hard to combat these ungoldly traits and help to raise more of the next generation for greater success. we all can be a part of this Great Commission and give up the need to tear christian ministries apart, intimidate, critisize, condemn, judge as some choose to do. take heart and be encouraged. God bless

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Wow! I totally agree with you. “we are in a world of false messages with a desensitizing, a conditioning of our minds away from a Biblical training.” and this is exactly what I believe Henry Wright is doing since not one of your comments can address one error in my reasoning.

      1. Can we talk about God’s sovereignty verses man’s manipulation of God. Are all sick people out of alignment with God? Does God ever let a person suffer who is not a sinner? Yes, we should take up the challenge to spread truth! Or
      2. Can we talk about generational sin? What the old testament and the new testament says about this issue? or
3 Can we talk about about what the bible says about blessing and curses? OR

Let us reason together on just one topic! You can pick a topic of your choice that you feel I am in error about.
May the peace of God be upon you!

      • outback Says:

God’s sovereignty is absolutely wonderful – he is sovereign over all. he is in control over all. your view of generational sin is not correct – your view of curses and blessing are not correct. they are theory, but are not correct. take some advice, others also have opinion, others have relationship, deep rooted relationship with a loving Father God because they have genuinely been saved, healed delivered and set free through practical prayer and ministry from past generational curses that are very obvious in millions of families across this world. your theory does not stand a test of change. This is exactly what all of these people say. They will not reason because their positions are not defensible. Even their guru Mr. Wright won’t defend his positions. They just know what they know, listening to a preacher who scratches their itching ears. The doing of wonders is no proof that this is of God as a matter of fact my bible tells me that in the last days it will be a sign of deceivers. Satan himself can appear as a angel of light. False teachers abound and Mr. Wright is one of them.

David S – you are missing something incredible. no-one can argue a deep and personal relationship and journey with the Lord that is a journey of intimate prayer, reading and applying God’s Word. no-one can. no-one can argue a journey of a person who has been through tragedy, trial and persecution, loss and pain and found healing because of a relationship with a loving Father God, miracles, mysteries, healing and wholeness because of practical steps used to apply the word of God with encouragement from ministries who steer a victim of deep pain to their own sin and struggles -when these are eradicated from within after persistence and perseverence, I mean down on our knees crying out to our maker of Heaven and earth to bring healing and wholeness, our desire to have a renewed heart and mind, to be cleansed and made anew – no-one can argue with testimony that is real and without a doubt transforming and renewing, change of a person once bound and overwhelmed by dark clouds of life’s sad circumstances. the focus now taken off one’s own problems and a whole focus on our loving Father with a passionate desire to tell others the saving, healing, delivering work of an almighty God. (the Gospels and New Testament) No-one can argue a persons real experience with the Lord as they journey with Him continuing in prayer and supplication and reading and taking in His Words. No-one – No theory that has no basis for ultimate change and room for the mighty miraculous power of the Holy Spirit to work wonderful, marvelous, all powerful results. No-one No-one can take that away from a person – no-one can intimidate, condemn, judge a mighty work of our counsellor, friend, Holy Spirit, companion in a persons life. No-one. No-one. All Honor and Glory, adoration and praise to God the Father, God the Son Jesus and precious Holy Spirit for His healing, unending, miraculous work in this world we live. amidst the chaos and immoralities of a dark and dying world – He is Sovereign over all. But my relationship with the father is based on my love for him and my desire to do HIS will and not my desire for him to do my will. I am to accept the things that HE gives me in this life and HE has taught me much through pain, sickness and injury. I am to have FAITH that HE knows what is best for me and that He loves me. I would not part with the lessons he has taught me through my weakness and pain. If I had sought to have them removed I would have missed these.

David S -that is wonderful you have intimate relationship with the Lord. i was not saying you did not, but no-one can argue a testimony of faith, perseverance and dedication and devotion to God along with ministry that veers us back to our own issues of sin and junk -that brings tremendous freedom a blessing as we all connect with people, pastors, ministries that help us greatly. we don’t have to justify – i don’t need to expand with wrightiswrong -it will not achieve. Exodus 14v14 “the Lord himself will fight for you, You won’t have to lift a finger in your defense!” we don’t have to set straight a ministry or Pastor, provided we’ve made all attempts to reconcile, forgive, be at peace, we allow God to do the work that must be done. we need to bless those who curse us. there is too much to do in this world without wasting our time ragging ministries. there is more work that must be done!!

I have a question for you. Does God only heals invisible ailments that cannot be verified?
God never instantly strips 200 pounds of ugly fat right off of an immensely obese bikini-clad woman with a glandular problem, with some independent witnesses. God never puts new legs or arms on amputees on. Nope, it’s always cancer, arthritis, paralysis, gall bladders, blindness, pinched nerves, or other things that the TV camera cannot see; things where independent verification is not possible. And, where verification is possible, like with the Viet Nam Veterans who have been paraplegics since the War, well, God doesn’t bother to fix any of them in faith-healing ceremonies. God never fixes their broken spinal cords or replaces their lost legs. God doesn’t seem to like the Viet Nam Vets who have authentic medical records. The Lord sure does work in mysterious ways. Maybe we could encourage these injured souls instead of adding to their pain. If you real want to find a person who is making an impact on this world read. “Life without limits“.by Nick Vujicic. Born without arms or legs and is bring people to Christ by the thousands without deception but with truth.

The closer the body of Christ moves toward the time of the end,the more important the ability to DISCERN will be, for there will not only be false prophets with false words, but also there will arise a higher level of spiritual wickedness that causes a spiritual clash like that between Elijah and the false prophets of Baal! 33. 123angelCindy P Says:

I was reading a book written by Perry Stone, and I quote him as saying this. “The closer the body of Christ moves toward the time of the end, the more important the ability to DISCERN will be, for there will not only be false prophets with false words, but also there will arise a higher level of spiritual wickedness that causes a spiritual clash like that between Eiljah and the false prophets of Baal!” A couple of years ago I was watching a show about poligomy. The children in this cult were dancing to regular secular christian music. They were in what appeared to be devout prayer, praise and worship, and reading their Bible, plus they have their Book of Mormom. Just because people read their Bibles and pray, does not mean that the teachings that they follow besides that are true and correct. This is all going to come out on judgement day, and that might be even sooner that we think. Christians are to fear God first, follow God first, and believe on His Son Jesus Christ to be saved, healed delivered, sanctified. Our works are as filthy rags according to the Bible. Anyone who claims to hear from God, and have all the goods on healing should be questioned. It is public knowledge on the internet that Henry made one and a half MILLION DOLLARS last year from this false doctrine. Everyone on here exposing this cult, knows first hand from experience that it is not right!!!! You will never change our minds or run us off, or prove anything otherwise.

The fact is that men like this will arise…

Mat 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

AND we owe to our brothers and sisters to blow the trumpet . Whether or not they heed the warning is between them and God

Eze 33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:
    Eze 33:3 If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;
Eze 33:4 Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.
Eze 33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul.
Eze 33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.

    • outback Says:

David S, Yes, I agree – I’m well aware of false christs and false prophets. if we were to judge every minister of faith like you or this blog do, we would have no-one in the world to reach the lost. there are certainly men or women out there proclaiming a power – hype – a fantacy all in the name of money to build an empire around them, there’s also a type of gospel watered down message that tickles many ears – carnal – apathetic – anything goes. a large element of New Age teaching creeping into the church of people deceiving many, proclaiming just BELIEVE AND RECEIVE, JUST BELIEVE AND RECEIVE!! WITH NO, I STATE NO CONSISTENT TEACHING AGAINST SIN AND THE DESPERATE NEED FOR REPENTANCE -TO RECOGNISE OUR SIN ISSUES, BITTERNESS, JUDGMENTS, UNFORGIVENESS, JEALOUSIES, PRIDE, DECEIT, RELIGION, PERVERSION ETC. (HENRY WRIGHT IS ONE OF FEW MINISTERS WHO TELL IT HOW IT IS – WITH REPENTANCE AND TURNING AWAY FROM EVERY SIN, WOW – POWER FROM OUR HOLY UTMOST ETERNAL GOD) – a world full of gay churches (would you believe, christians agreeing with such sin) – a well known christian artist Ray Bolz proclaiming to his wife and 4 children in 2004 that he is gay now shacked up with his boyfriend. Be In Health ministry is certainly not in this catergory. it’s how you perceive it to be and your conclusion is incorrect. Look out there in this world and take an honest look at what is really happening. I came across this blog and couldn’t believe the judgments against this ministry – we’ve been thoroughly blessed by the ministry of Be In Health. absolutely thorough and certainly veers us back to reality of His words. we are cleansed and made whole and a light made bright to boldly tell others of our great big Holy most High God. Through ministry such as this, our faith is made rich, our vision for the lost increased.

in revivals of past, through Salvation in our risen Lord, repentance is a major key that brings power and hope to a hopeless situation. Eg. if we have a bad sore on our leg at the time of salvation, that sore does not leave – put a bandaid over it and it just simply covers it up, it does not heal immediately. the same with our christian lives, we are not ALL healed at the time of salvation -the reality is, many have garbage that must be cleaned out. like our Potter and we are the clay. there is a work God wants to do in us to grow our faith. unless we dig to the roots of our bondages and strongholds, we will continue to wear a masque and cover over the bondages of past. for a fruitful life, deal with these issues and it is certainly a more excellent way – it brings something very beautiful, and something very good. What is wrong with that? absolutely biblical – absolutely right. you don’t need to reply as i know what you are trying to say, but i don’t agree with your theory and accusations toward certain ministries.

      • David S Says:

I pray that God will grant us both wisdom and discernment in all of these matters as we each seek to honor Him and Glorify his name in everything we do.

      • wrightiswrong Says:

Dear Outback, You say that “if we were to judge every minister of faith like you or this blog do, we would have no-one in the world to reach the lost.” You are making a hasty generalization. It is all of our jobs to discern the true. I listen to many ministries on the radio and they are not out in left field like this ministry. They are proclaiming the truth to all end of the world. Henry Wright’s ministry is not the only ministry ! You are making calms of bombastic idealism as others of this following do including “We are special. We are the wave of the future. The United Nations could learn something from us. Only we have a style of life worth living. You are correct in that many are following after false prophets – are you one? you are constructing an illogical argument using a Red herring: which is the fallacy that of introducing irrelevant material to the issue being discussed, so that everyone’s attention is diverted away from the points being made, towards a different conclusion. Let’s talk about Henry Wright’s ministry not what everyone else in the world is doing! You are correct in that none of us will ever be healed of our sinful nature here on earth but my belief in Jesus’s death on the cross has my sins covered, past, present and future. Nowhere in the bible does it say to hunt up all the sins you can remember in your past or in prior generations. Is the work of the cross not sufficient? Is it my works of searching, confessing and repentance that bring me my salvation?

“For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?” (Hebrews 9:13, 14).

“For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8, 9).

Salvation is not a matter of believers trying to confess and repent from every sin they commit before they die. Salvation is not based on whether a Christian has confessed and repented of every sin. Nothing we are, nothing we can do, no amount we can pay, could be enough to take away our sin and guilt. But Jesus’ blood is sufficient. (POSITIONALLY we are saved. Just as a boy sins against his father, his father aromatically forgives him because he is his son.) Oh, the inexpressible rest we can have when we accept two unchangeable truths: First, our utter inability to atone for sin. Second, the complete sufficiency of the blood of Jesus to forgive ALL our sins. I must lay down my efforts to merit forgiveness. I must cease believing I can make my account any better by a better confession, by longer devotions, by extended fasting, or by any other good work. (When I ask God to forgive me of my sins I am wanting a closer RELATIONSHIP with my father.) Those things are fine and good in my walk with Jesus, but they must be thrown off when by them I want to replace Jesus’ work for my sins. I do not need to earn forgiveness (more accurately, I cannot earn it); I can only accept it humbly. To believe on Christ is in effect to declare that He is all-sufficient to cover all my sins for all eternity. The sacrifice has been paid in full. There need be no other and no more. All my sins, past, present and future are under that blood that cleanses

“Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”[a]

Romans 4 Now to the one who works, wages are not credited as a gift but as an obligation. 5 However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness. 6 David says the same thing when he speaks of the blessedness of the one to whom God credits righteousness apart from works:

7 “Blessed are those whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. 8 Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them.”[b]

Yes, we should confess our sins to God as soon as we are aware that we have sinned to keep our relationship with God healthy but my salvation is not based on my repentance but the work of Jesus. If God remembers our sins no more than my sins wouldn’t affect my health. Sometimes we suffer from the consequences of our sins (such as smoking) but it is not a penalty for my sins or everyone who smoked would get cancer, etc.) When we place our faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, all of our sins are forgiven. That includes past, present, and future, big or small. Jesus died to pay the penalty for all of our sins, and when they are forgiven, they are all forgiven (Colossians 1:14; Acts 10:43). I am going to rest my salvation on the blood of Jesus!

  35. ANON Says:

I personally attended this church for a few years.

I will attest that this church is a cult and HW is a cult leader.

David S is correct when saying that his
teachings are “extra biblical” meaning that he has
special revelations given only to him on scriptures.

Some of his errors are in your face like the world before Adam
teachings and some are subtle like his views on forgiveness
of sin. And this is just a drop in the bucket on the amount of
blatant error taught by this man.

There is much psychology and studying of other cults involved
with his teachings. He DOES know exactly what he is doing
and how to get you hooked and keep you hooked by never
being repentant enough or having all the devils out of your life.
The fear is dying with iniquity in your heart and God rejecting you.(Which he teaches!) This keeps you returning to the program, needing “deeper insights” and having to buy his latest book on how many blocks between you and God you have.
All the while, Jesus is somewhere in the background but
you sure need to search to find him in HW’s scheme.

I tell you the truth when I tell you that when I walked out the church door for the last time, I was spiritually bankrupt and not sure that Jesus was even Messiah. I had a complete crisis of faith. This is due to only hearing of HW special revelations (mostly dealing in the OT) and NEVER almost ever hearing about the work of Jesus Christ.

In retrospect, as a DEVOUT christian of 25 years, I do not know how I fellfor this garbage except that I was sick and searching for healing. And if I can fall for it, so can you.

I did not get free of this ministry and its pull until I admitted
to myself that I had been involved in a cult.
It has been a difficult process that I have gone thru getting set free from the bondage that all of his whacky teachings has placed in my heart. I have had to focus on the Radical GRACE of the Lord Jesus Christ! It has really worked a miraculous work in my heart and life.

I do respectfully disagree with David S when he says this is Word of Faith teachings. I had attended WOF church for almost 12 years… While they can be extreme in wealth and health…they do preach salvation in Jesus at every service. So, I would categorize most WOF attendees are Christians who have some error in their thinking. (However, HW and WOF both esteem the Dake bible which is an oxymoron as there is nothing bible about Dake)

BUT HW is so far out there…he cannot compare with any actual
Christian church. He is truly a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

If I can talk just one person out of reading his books attending
his seminars or moving to his church…that would make it all
    worth while.

Please make sure any ministry you involve yourself
with is CHRIST centered and has no special revelations involved.
The gospel is simple. Jesus is LORD.

I am glad to see someone is standing up in the face of this growing cult. Thanks wright is wrong!

    a reply to Anon
    • Do you realise hundreds of pastors proclaim healing for their flock only to find 6mths later they have died. Thousands of persons die because of illness not healed though churches have sent a person home to receive their healing –(believe, receive -have deep faith and receive your healing) in fact are not healed of disease. One greater inspiration Pastor Henry Wright has over many is that he is precise, he teaches repentance, he is straight to the point, deal with your bitterness, deal with your accusations, deal with your judgements, deal with your jealousies, deal with your pride, deal with your sin FULL STOP and no one can ever deny Pastor Henry Wright sure preaches this way. if a person desires to deal with their rubbish -a renewed heart and mind, a clean heart O God. Outback talks about the potter and clay. a journey in this life is a process, a clean up of our insides to shine light for His glory.
    • Reike healing compared to healing from God. Yes many are healed of disease through techniques of reike and new age, but Non-christians do not have a deep inner peace that is available to a Christian. Non-christians do not have eternal life. If anyone applies the principles of sowing and reaping, dealing with their bitterness, jealousies, pride and more, they achieve a greater wholeness over those who don’t, (Christian or non-christian), but with God, His power, His love, His healing, His salvation, His Deliverance, His peace, a journey in this life is more exciting and inspired.
    • I’ve also read through Sandi’s writings – spot on – absolutely.
    • Beware anon –your blogs are standing on shaky ground. Open your eyes, wake up before it is too late. Ministers like pastor Henry wright are doing something very significant –they are spreading the message of hope world wide –the question is, What are you doing? What are you doing anon? What did the pharasees do? What did they do? They did not do what Jesus did and wants us to do, no, they took it in their own self-righteousness to critisise and judge, mock and ridicule.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

      Scotty,
I appreciate your point of view. Praise God for the direct teachings against sin and for repentance. Can Henry Wright do this with misleading his flock in other areas? Please remember that Satan quoted scripture to Jesus in the wilderness. Those quotes, too, were out of context which is one way Henry mislead his following.

I am totally with you that we need a closer walk with God to gain inner peace and to have an exciting and inspired spiritual walk with God. We need to have that peace no matter what situation God places us into. This comes from spending time reading God’s word and understanding and comprehending God’s messages to us. Not by doing word studies from Henry’s dictionary. When we have a close relationship we can trust HIM to take us, through anything.

I don’t agree with Sandi as she addresses no issues but has only emotional rhetoric.
I really would appreciate knowing how many people the Be in Health has minister to, who have gone home only to die 6months later because Henry convinced them to get off their medication and trust in the Lord. I would like to know how many have gone home disillusioned because they were not healed. If God did not heal them then did God also not forgive them of their sins. Did they walk away from God because we misrepresent our LORD? I don’t believe there is any follow up on these poor souls because the truth is not really wanted. Henry claims to be into science. A follow up is the only scientific way to see the results of such a ministry as Be in Health.

You may make claims of bombastic idealism “Pastors like Henry Wright are doing something very significant –they are spreading the message of hope world wide”. My question is he spreading HENRY”S truth or GOD’s truth. Henry Wright seem to be preaching a different message than many other orthodox Christian pastors.

Scotty you accuse Anon on being on shaky ground. Before we look at the log in someone else’s eye maybe we need to take a serious look at our own. Your arguments are full of fallacies.
Just because Henry’s ministry is world wide does it make it true? You are using a “Red herring” This fallacy is committed when irrelevant material is introduced to the issue being discussed, so that everyone’s attention is diverted away from the points being made, towards a different conclusion. Are we talking about how each of us is serving God and how the pharisees fell short OR about the errors of Henry’s ministry? The title of this blog is “ Is Henry Wright or Wrong?”
Anon is not a pastor, pastors are held to a higher standard. I also, didn’t see your list of contributions to God’s work.

Do you remember the The Parable of the Workers in the Vineyard Matthew 20 in the end 9 “The workers who were hired about five in the afternoon came and each received a denarius. 10 So when those came who were hired first, they expected to receive more. But each one of them also received a denarius. 11 When they received it, they began to grumble against the landowner. 12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’ 13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius? 14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you. 15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’ God will pay as he deems right. I will not judge, “who is doing what for the Lord.

Nowhere in the bible, that I know of , does God ask me to monitor the works of others, but HE does expect me to test the prophets and pastors. 2 Timothy 2 15Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth. Matthew 7:15 “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. 1 John 4:1-6Beloved, do NOT Believe EVERY spirit (those CLAIMING to SPEAK BY THE SPIRIT), but TEST the SPIRITS, whether they are of God; because MANY FALSE PROPHETS have gone out into the World. So instead of condemning our work you should be commending us for a questioning and responding to our queries. May the Lord bless your day and open all our eyes to his truth.

Thanks be to JESUS! My eyes WERE opened and I did wake up.
I lived in Thomaston and attended this church for years. Myself and whole family attended the program countless times. I went to (Scientologist call it I had totally bought this man’s version of the truth.

      THEN IT HIT ME…
One day, after struggling so much with devils and sin, needing MORE AND MORE deeper insights and all those Old Testament blocks between me and the FATHER… I came to the realization that I had not heard the NAME of JESUS but a handful of times in several years and that I was sicker than I had ever been… Curious.

So, the Holy Spirit had brought me to my senses… I rightfully panicked and Left the church/cult and under went mourning for the fool I had been and also had cult deprogramming. I thank JESUS that he had me in the palm of his hand and did not let me fall from HIS GRACE.

*Warning to anyone with ears to hear…HW is a wolf, PVC IS a cult.*

I too, was once in your shoes….I went there the same reason anyone else does…I was desperate to get healed and I too would have defended this man and his teachings to anyone. (And did, ironically on a forum calling this church a cult:)

I only knew how HW’s teachings (at first) made me feel. Excited, clean, extra special, part of a group that knew the truth. Why didn’t everyone believe this? After all, people were healed, people were refreshed and embraced the FATHER’S LOVE and repented and deliverance from all those devils and party church atomosphere, even the electric slide…Wow…how about the electric slide? (Done each and every Friday after program…never any deviation ever)
and what about HW himself? At that time especially, when he was well and full of himself, was such a enigmatic convincing personality. Wow, what could beat that I wonder?

Perhaps the actual salvation message? Maybe you know the one I am referring to…the NEW COVENANT thru the atoning blood of JESUS CHRIST. It lacks the electric slide…but is still pretty exciting in my book!

*Warning to anyone with ears to hear…HW is a wolf, PVC IS a cult.*

What would you say if I told you that there is a recovery group for those that have left this cult, many people coming out of 7 years or more of BIH programming and are almost destroyed…can you say that about your average bible teaching church? NO, most people don’t need to recover for years from going to a respectable church.

Or that HW preached from the pulpit just recently “we are not a cult”
Do you hear that in your average bible preaching church? No, and why not? Because normal bible preaching churches do not NEED to defend themselves.

Are you boasting of this man’s works?
I do not care if this man climbs to the highest pinnacle of the earth and declares his mismash of psycological/scientology/OT Law/mormonlike/pseudo medical theology to all who will hear. Not do I care if you and every man walking on this planet embraces it as the gospel truth and everyone gets goose bumps and healed. This does not make HW right. As the man says, Wright IS wrong.
Without JESUS and his finished work on the cross as his main focus… all that’ man’s preaching is nothing but DUNG.
Even the word, repent, means nothing if JESUS is not involved.
      REPENT TO WHOM?

And addressing the self righteous statement…I truly must say that I am anything BUT self righteous…there is NO good in me. Not an ounce. The only good I possess is JESUS Christ in my heart. He is my righteousness. And this I know and thankfully…NO man will ever again take this away and replace with extra biblical lies.

Get yourself truly grounded in the forgiveness, deliverance and grace of the LORD Jesus Christ and all this, everything I am saying to you Will become self evident. You, yourself, will wonder how you EVER fell for a counterfeit gospel. I often wonder how I did myself.

      Gal 1:6
      King James Bible (Cambridge Ed.)
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

Again I will warn you, “Special Revelation” Wright is a wolf, PVC IS a cult.* May the LORD JESUS CHRIST give you discernment and wisdom.

Whereby you discuss everything bad that has happened in your life, they discuss roots, you repent for your participation, even if you were a victim, such as in a rape etc…and then they cast out the appropriate devils to such roots. She has read several of them and attended his seminars. She is adamant that what she is learning is biblicaly based and swears that his teaching’s are her life passion now.

I find it odd and a bit uncomfortable to except her beliefs that everything is spirit based.

She even has one of his books that lists prayers to pray over my spirit. something she insists she does daily for me.

I have read about half of his FEAR book. seems ok. The thing is that I’m comfortable testing everything to see if it’s in line with God’s word. But, yikes. if I had to tell her that what she is into is unbiblical, I would need a great deal of help with that.

Rom 8v1 Oh Lord God of the Heavens and God of this earth, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, reveal yourself to this blog, show yourself with your deep, deep love of Jesus Christ. nothing can separate us from the love of God. all glory to His Holy Majestic name -all honor, all worship and praise. thank you Lord for the work You do in so many lives across this world, thank You Lord for your Might – though we make mistakes, forgive us Lord, make us clean, may we desire to be more like You every day. may we be as lights to this world. thank You Lord for the multitudes of ministries across this world helping to groom this world and people to a much better place -we know Lord it’s a mixed up world – we have a lot to do to be a light and life to so many others who need you. help us more to be a beautiful light shining out in this dark trodden world. and thank You for the ministry Pastor Henry Wright is involved – he is not perfect Lord and no-one is, but he does have a heart after your own heart, for the lost and broken, sick and downtrodden – though he is like Jacob and has his faults, he is still a man after Your own heart and You are in control. You are a God of the absolute ALL POSSIBLE, bless Him, Heal him, fill Him with more of Your power and love for the lost, as he quietly surrenders to You daily raise him up more and more to do a mightier work – multiply those who are blessed from the heart of this man. God Bless Be In Health Ministries, God Bless Be In Health Ministries and see what God will do!! “Create in me a new heart O Lord. Cleanse me and make me anew.”

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Outback, Has Satan dividing Christian against Christian? I will NOT presume that you are NOT a Christian. In fact I believe that all of us who are adamant about our views on this blog are followers of Christ. So I think it’s important that we talk like Christians. This is not the place to threaten each other (“be warned and be so careful”) as you say. This blog is here to give people the right to choose if they want to follow Henry’s Wright teaching or to go a different direction. I am here to inform people of what I believe may be unbiblical teachings of “Be in Health” and if they know what they are into and don’t care, or they choose to ignore the warning signs and not search out what I am saying than so be it. They may continue to follow Henry, that is their prerogative. Surely, there are other pastors who are not unbiblical who are just as capable of pastoring a flock as Henry without fleecing the flock of a half a million dollars.

  43. 123angelCindy Pruss Says:

Actually, HW ministry raked in ONE AND A HALF MILLION DOLLARS last year. I found it on the internet by typing in his name and residence, and it came up. I am not surprised at all. People that are sick are so desperate to be healed. I myself forgot that according to the scriptures, my righteousness is as filthy rags. I cannot earn it, have it cast out of me, or study anyones teachings. It is all be Jesus grace and mercy, that I am so unworthy of! We cannot in our human nature even begin to fathom the love of Christ Jesus our Lord! It’s all about JESUS. It takes time to come out of a cult. I kept seeing and feeling warning signs, but I tried to ignore them. Then I began to let the Holy Spirit take control, and cried out to God to show me the TRUTH. Praise His Holy Name, HE did just that. The Bible says to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. God meant to fear Him, LOOK To Him. No one can show you this other than Almighty God! Please search your heart and mind. Ask Jesus to speak to you directly. He is the only way the truth and the life!

  44. Grace Landing Says:

Let me know what you think of them.

  45. Concerned Christian Says:

Having heard and watched many of his teachings I have decided that this man does have some truth but also has much error in his teachings. For example he stated in one of his DVD’s that BeinHealth’s “Magna Carta” is based upon 2 Timothy 2:25 from the KJV only which states: “In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth”. The words HW focuses on in this verse is “opposes themselves” to come up with a doctrine that if you hate yourself, or oppose yourself in any way then that is the root of your disease. The word “themselves” is not even in the original Greek. No other translation of the bible uses the word “themselves” in this verse. The real meaning of this verse is about the person in the church who is opposing the truth is hurting other peoples’ faith. He takes this mistranslated verse from the KJV and gives it new meaning to base his doctrine upon. He also takes this verse out of context with what the previous several verses were saying. This is just one of many problems with HW’s teachings and why all christians should be careful with this ministry and very well grounded in the Word of God before reading “A More Excellent Way” or attending his seminars or buying his DVD’s. IMHO my entire church has been deceived by many of his erroneous teachings. He may be sincere and may have other’s interests sincerely ahead of his own, however many of his teachings are sincerely wrong and will hurt people’s faith.
In his Spirit World Realities teachings he often makes a statement that does not have a grounded biblical basis and says to trust him because he has done tons of research on the subject and does not back it up with the bible. One example is the subject of satan (demons) puting thoughts in your mind and communicating with you through theta brainwave activity. How does he know this is the way satan puts thoughts into your mind? How does he know satan can even put thoughts into your mind other than your 5 senses. The bible does not state that satan has this kind of power. I find it hard to believe that HW could find scientific evidence that satan can put thought into your mind via theta brainwave activity.
Please be careful and truly be a good Berean when it comes to his teachings.

    • Anon Says:

All “Christian like” cults possess some truth. This is the way you are reeled in. Like a counterfeit dollar bill…you would not accept one that you KNEW was false…you are fooled thinking it is the real thing. It can happen to anyone. Look up on You tube…how good churches become cults. Here is the link

Now, I personally do not think PVC was ever a “good” church if the definition is being one that preaches the New Covenant of Jesus Christ…but the you tube videos show how anyone CAN be fooled and any church can get WAY off. It also shows, in video 5 , how a church focused on the Old Testament is almost always a cult right off the bat. (PVC).

  46. 123angel Cindy Pruss Says:

This is what I have stated before, every cult starts out with a truth, that is what drawls you into it. I went to the library with one of his ministers, and I noticed that she was checking out books that were written by other cults. What went through my mind was, is Henry reading these to learn brainwashing techniques? He had said many times that his own father would have nothing to do with him. A huge red light went off in my mind as I saw these books being checked out, and then thought about his father. I also thought Henry does have a degree in psychology, he would know how to manipulate peoples minds. I also felt a presence of the power of suggestion. This man has one diabolical mind. He DOES spiritually rape people. Christians BEWARE , and stay away from these false teachings!

  47. We Shall See.... Says:

Just want to say I’m going to attend a Be In Health conference later this week and found this discussion interesting. I lean toward the “pro-Henry” view, but do intend to be Berean as I listen. I guess it’s just that I see healing all over the scriptures and long to see it in reality. I WANT to believe Henry has discovered some principles that work. And as it has been pointed out several times, his book is very strong on sanctification, something that is glossed over even in our conservative churches! Anyway, A More Excellent Way makes sense to me and it seemed almost uncanny the way I found out about it, and then for there to be a conference in my own one-horse town! That has to be God, right? May God bless us all with love, patience, and wisdom. And healing.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

I hope that you can be an objective Berean. I think too often people WANT to believe and thereby can’t reason intelligently. As my mother says, “If you believe hard enough that that post over there will make you well then it will.” When 60% or our ailment will heal themselves (for Christians and non Christian alike) without any outside intervention but through the grace of God then any health ministry should have 60% of their ailing healed. If you are not well versed in your bible I will guarantee that you will come out believing everything that Henry Wright’s group teaches. May the Lord be with you!

    • Thomas Anderson Says:

So, how’d it go being Berean, “We Shall See….”?

If you were truly Berean, you’d never even go in the first place.

And if you had ANY spiritual discernment whatsoever, then you’d be sounding the alarm along with those of us who do.

  48. Steven Says:

I have friends who have decided to go to Georgia for one of his conferences. He has MS; she has other issues. They have a son with paranoid schizophrenia. They are desperate. We have not known them for long. They attended a small group we were leading i thank you for your blog and believe from what I’ve read what I already feared may be true- that the ‘Be Well’ movement and Henry Wright are part of the whole “faith movement” ie that if you are sick, poor etc.,It is rooted in sin and can be changed if you repent enough and believe enough. Such teaching has destroyed many lives. I am, however, equally concerned with a similar doctrine of demons called dispensational cessantionalism whicn many opponents of the healing movement use as their hidden frame of reference. This is an equally unbiblical and is also a contrived theology that forces on scipture its own speculative context. Unlike you perhaps, I believe in and have witnessed personally God’s healing today. I believe that when we pray for the sick, we are obeying one of the imperatives of the “great commisson”. I believe there is biblical imperative to allow for and eagerly seek spiritual gifts, including the gift of healing. I believe, however, that the safe and biblical way to express these things is in the body and in as naturally, supernatual way as possible. Because the church as a body has not accepted the mandate to preach the good news and heal the sick as a natural outlfow of discipleship, we allow for spiritual predators to manipulate the minds of people with distorted doctrine and the exaltion of so-called “annointed” men and women. There is a mystery in healng. Just as not all are saved who we proclaim the gospel to, even though it is the Lord’s will that none should perish, – all are not healed who we pray for even though it is the Lord’s will for us to pray for their healing. I see no difference between devine healing or medical healing. Pray to be healed and take your medication at the same time. If you do become well, it will show up in the doctor’s office. We shouldn’t be putting our ultimate trust in medicine or in humans who claim to have healing gifts, we should be putting our trust in God.

  49. Steven Says:

I recommend this brief article based on a PhD dissertation on cessionism for the shake of contextualizing my argument http://www.jonruthven.org/On%20the%20Cessation%20of%20the%20Charismata.pdf.

I came to the same conclusions, though less well articulated while doing a guided reading course in eschatology during my last year in seminary in 1981. I later became aware of well written biblical theologies such as that of George Eldon Ladd and systematic theologies such as that of Wayne Grudem. I agree with much of what is written in the article by Hampton Keathley you recommended but believe in reading the primary source before making final judgements. I do not believe miracles in today’s church are evidential or even necessarily an endorsement of the person they are mediated through. Many people have been saved through ministries that are doctrinally and ethically questionable (i.e. Swaggart, PTL, Benny Hill etc. If a person is healed at most it testifies to the fact that God still heals today and that healing prayer is effectual. I believe that every Christian can be sovereignly used in this ministry although it is possible that some may have extraordinary experience and/ or a Holy Spirit enhanced ability to equip others.

  50. 123angel Cindy Pruss Says:

Maybe it is just as uncanny that you found this blog WARNING you about the evils involved with Henry Wright’s ministry. You are going to be shocked at all of his his methods of madness. Basically he will be telling you that if they cast all of your demons out, and you repent of everything you can think of, YOU can make your own healing happen Forget about what Jesus has already did on the cross for you, YOU can do , and make your healing happen. Isn’t that great YOU can tell God how YOU want it done, and plan it all out with Henry and his staff. I’m sure God loves being told what to do, and YOU have all of the control in it. But, don’t forget, we are to love the Lord God with all of our heart, mind, body, and soul! That means we are to TRUST and believe in HIM for our healing, not man. Henry does NOT even have a degree in BIBLE or Seminary, only psycology, and boy can he work and play with your mind. But, go ahead and do it your way instead of God’s. I guarantee you, there will be a HIGH price for you to pay! In many more ways than your pocketbook and mind!
God how YOU want our all, but we just won’t give it to you, bcause we want it our way.

  51. Robert Says:

Hello all…I feel that before I comment on Henry Wright and this ministry, it is necessary for you all to know by background and connection to this subject matter. I am 44 and in good health, thank the Lord. I am in the music business, which is a hard place to be as a Christian. I am logically and scientifically minded, as well as creative. I thank God for blessing the right and left sides of my brain. I have long desired to know the how and when of the more scientifically challenging aspects of creation, but at the same time, rested in my faith that I would know when the Lord tells me himself. It was, and is, enough to trust God by faith.

I was exposed to Henry Wright and “Be In Health” a couple years ago. My wife and I were gifted one of the “For My Life” week long seminars, and went with absolutely no idea what the focus was. We were prepared to either absorb the Word or run for the hills! I must say however, that my basic theological preconceptions were very traditionally, Baptist. I have never seen a miracle, tongues had passed away as unnecessary with modern communications, God sent doctors to heal and fried chicken is the closest thing to Mana we will ever know. Well maybe not that last one, but in all seriousness…

That week changed my life forever. We left with our minds swimming. There was so much information to process. I have been a Christian since I was 8, and I had never heard most of this before. I was exposed to passages of the Bible that are not taught in most church services. I was challenged to examine my dogma, and compare it to scripture. As has been quoted in above posts, I was specifically challenged to be Berean by the teachers and Henry himself.

Never once was there a suggestion to abandon doctors or medication in an irresponsible manner. We were taught that that was a worthy an attainable goal. We were taught that Satan has dominion in this world and has profound influence on humanity…even Christians. The emphasis for the week was placed on identifying hidden or ignored sin and addressing it by name. We also learned about a Christian’s authority over Satan and his minions, and how to follow Jesus’ example in removing it bit by bit.

To be honest, and I believe I am, I found Henry to be at least very confident, and at most cocky. I also had many issues with the diversity of deliveries from at least ten different teachers. Some were engaging, some destroyed the English language, some dryly read notes, and some flowed information effortlessly. I think it would be fair to say as well that as a human, Henry makes mistakes. When I was there, he related several positions that he previously held that have changed due to further and understanding. For better or worse, I found all to be sincere, with a heart for God. As I tried to justify my impressions through the filter of my life and beliefs, it occurred to me that that was really the problem. My beliefs, although I am saved, have been informed largely by men. Any leader that insists that man is being manipulated by an unseen enemy and must undergo a very uncomfortable examination of his heart in order to be everything God has for us is readily labeled dangerous.
I believe our world, country and Christianity to be so compromised, that teachers who espouse long ignored and lost biblical principals will be placed on the fringes and ridiculed. I believe that the state of our own Christian church to be its own evidence that we, as the worldwide Church, are operating without the whole truth. Is that truth coming from Henry? That is the focus of my current study…Truth not Henry.

I also believe this post to be it’s own evidence as to my desire not to follow any man on some wild and fanciful distraction. I found this blog as I was doing research as to the truth of Henry’s teachings concerning a pre-Adamite earth. I have found much dogma, and gnashing of teeth, but nothing to end my study yet. As I mentioned above, I have no issue taking God’s word on faith, but as He is not “the author of confusion”, and there is much confusion on this subject, I must challenge God in prayer to increase my understanding. This goes for creation as well as sin and disease. At this point, I am of the opinion that God has provided much more information than most are ready or willing to receive.

I can’t address accusations such as thousands have died due to Henry’s teaching, or splitting up families. I don’t have the context, nor do I have that evidence. The kind of division and heated debate I see here leads me to believe however, that Satan is desperately trying to accomplish his purpose in it, whatever that may be. I can only leave you with this. As a result of this particular ministry, my faith has been increased, and I have spent much more time in my Bible. Pleasant Valley was a place of noticeable peace and lack of strife which led me and my wife to go again and take our children. Knowing what was going to happen allowed me to focus in more detail, and again, all the teaching was placed under the directive to test it with scripture.

Remember this my brothers and sisters in Christ. Though the Bible says to be wary of false teachers in the end times, Satan is not interested in anyone truly testing his false teaching against scripture. Satan tends to be inclusive, not exclusive and he certainly would not influence teaching that enumerates specifically how to personally address and defeat his kingdom.

I believe this by profession. Henry is a born again child of the most high God. All of you who have posted above are also born again children of the most high God and I am a born again child of our creator. We will reign for eternity with Christ, together. What implications does this have on this blog?

Just some things to think about.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Thank you for your thoughtful blog. I appreciate your perspective. You sound like very caring and intelligent person so I am sending you some articles and notes. I hope you will take the time to read through them with an open mind to the truth being presented. Please pray for Godly discernment.

We often claim to be Bereans, thinking that if we take time to read God’s work carefully we are being Bereans. But we really don’t know how to divide God’s word correctly. Do you understand the seven basic principles of Biblical Hermeneutics? If you, like most of us, didn’t know what I’m talking about, maybe you may want to start your studies with understanding the basics of being a good Berean. There are many good books on Biblical Hermeneutics but in case you don’t have time to look for one I have attached an article if you would like to read it.

It is difficult to find reviews of Henry Wright. I have attached some interesting articles.
The “What’s wrong with Henry Wright” are my incomplete very lengthy notes of Henry Wright’s book “A More Excellent Way.”
The other reviews are much shorter and more readable.

Please be careful of places that feel good. There are many people who belong to cults because they feel good being there.

I can speak from personal experience that Henry’s teaching has alienated me from two of my daughters. We can’t discuss our difference in beliefs. I can’t speak about God and his work in my life nor their beliefs. If I do they won’t talk to me for months at a time. I am trusting God to deal with this issue and I am not bitter about just sad to know that if you don’t believe as they do then you are an outsider.

I pray that this is helpful to you. May the Lord bless you.

Dear wrightiswrong & gracelanding. We’ve read through everything here because we have some friends who say they are well now because of there visits to Plesant Rivers Church in Thomaston, Georgia, Pastor Henry W Wright. This is the ministry you are talking about? I’d like to know why you don’t post whatever it is you want to send out. It would be a lot better for us all to just read it, talk about it and if we have questions call their phone line and ask what they think, also internet safe. I’m always encouraging my sons to not leave their email on web sites, because we get so much junk email, but I believe you are sincerly trying to help people and call attention to errors, so will ask you the other person sending list of problems to send me a copy. Also did do a quick read of the Amazon com reviews for the Excellant Way book, and agree that it could just be because it is a transciption that no one was trying to twist or miss-quote the Bible, but just that people speak differently than they write. What else is wrong? Is this person abusive? What kind of leadership does their lead pastor sit under? Are people who live there free to disagree? How are people treated if they express mistrust or concern about errors in doctrine? What is done to help them, to reconcile, to make sure everyone has accountability? Have people been harmed by going there to there semanar?

    • wrightiswrong Says:

I have some real concerns about Henry. I don’t put all my notes on this blog because they are too long from most readers to sit through. But I’m more than happy to share what I have learned and researched.

I have a friend who would be glad to rewrite Henry’s book but Henry’s doesn’t want it rewritten because it allow for confusion. He does twist scripture and does miss-quote the bible and doesn’t want it changed. Henry sits under no leadership but his own. He says he has direct revelation of God, just like Joseph Smith! He has no accountability that I know of.

He has made a half of a million dollars this year and does not reveal his finances to anyone. My church publishes their financial disclosure every year – what his Henry hiding? I have disagreed with Henry’s teaching and if you do, you are filled with evil spirits and they stop talking to you. My girls who follow Henry won’t speak to me about any biblical issues. They will not reason with you. As you have read in the blog they can not defend any issues that I challenge them on. There is nowhere in the bible where we are taught that should or that we have the power to bind and loose evil spirits. Only God can do that. Nowhere in the bible does it say that all suffering is cause by our sins nor that we ourselves have the power to more GOD hand! Nowhere in the bible does it say that we are cursed, for we no longer live under the old law but under grace. Only God can curse and bless with power. Nowhere does it say that if a wife is more into the word than her husband than she is a Matriarchal witch. Nowhere does that bible teach that there are generational sins with 20 or more blocks to your healing. Jesus never taught this and Henry shouldn’t either!

Yes people have been harmed by his ministry.

  53. Peter j Foster Says:

I didn’t know there was so much controversy over Pastor Wright’s ‘Be in Health’ Ministry.
I have been exposed to a fair bit of his teaching and have benefited hugely through allowing the Word set me free. I am challenged by attitudes of unforgiveness, jealousy, anger, fears, hurts and unbelief. All of which can cause ‘dis-ease’ in our minds and subsequently our bodies.
I am sure this is a true Biblical principal; but maybe his style would not suit everyone. He does take a bit of getting used to!
Bless you all on your healing journey.

    • kim Says:

When my mom first told me about it, (Be in Health) it sounded good, and made sense,- That is, until I went into the Conference (for 4 days) and really found out what they taught and the direction they were taking. (To let you know- I stayed in the same hotel as the people who came down from Georgia to lead the conference (it was DVD) I was in the elevator with them and saw a book they were carrying on How the brain works ( they didn’t know I was going to the conference). But I saw it, and after I saw these people were the leaders -that was my first red flag. Honestly, after sitting there for 4 days, it was a sort of brain washing they do (long days, eyes open, do not leave,etc…)- Not reason and free will. That is scary!

Nothing can guide us like the Holy Spirit does through reading the Word of God. Not even Henry. When I became a Christian in 1997 (I was 22) God made it very clear he wanted me to get to know him through his word for that year. God spoke clearly to my heart ” Do not listen to anyone else”, this was so I could get some basic “roots” down; founded in the Word of God. Now, I do listen to certain trusted teachers ( good pastors, Jack Van Impe and Joyce Myers to name a few). I still continue to read and memorize as much as I can, but now I have God’s word in my heart so I can discern.

We are all challenged at some point about unforgiveness, jealousy, anger, etc…. but these are things God will show us on how to beat, if we continue with him and our precious Savior Jesus(-Matt 7:7-8 (seek and you will find). Our trials through these thoughts and emotions are not in vain because God’s word says,

      Romans 5:3
And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strengh, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.

Don’t forget the Devil knows the Bible too, and can twist it and distort it. Devil did it to Jesus after 40 days of fasting (when he was vulnerable) Matt 4:1-10

Matthew 4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, and saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God , cast thyself down: for it is writtten, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not temp the Lord thy God.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whener they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

Trust me- I’m all for speaking Boldly in the Lord, but that is not at all what I see in H.W doctorine. I didn’t feel like the Be in Health Conference’s motive was to save people but actually to destroy them. That’s why I say,-”They are wolves in sheeps clothing.”

      Gods Word first!

  56. Kim Says:

Wright is Wrong- I was just at a 4 day Be in Health conference in Calgary Alberta via DVD in a church. I was there with my mom because she was really interested. Let me begin by saying, ” They are wolves in sheeps clothing”. They treat the word of God like a smorgasbord, picking out verses and leaving others out to prove their distorted point. They prey on people who don’t know their bible and lead them astray; filled with fear. (Not to mention emptying their wallets )
In this conference they were very controlling, saying if you need to get up and stretch or you are free , but a demon might be trying to get you to leave. They are reading books on the brain, which tells me they are not relying on the power of God , but seemed to be brainwashing. At the end of some of the speakers they wanted eyes up and on screen as they so called cast out demons if you closed your eyes they’d come ask you to open them. I was very uncomfortable as I didn’t trust these people. They say they are casting out spirits of fear that should set us free, but if you have a life with any emotion or ailment they declare-you have a demon. . Well, I have to say I don’t know what would give people more fear than to think because you are sick you have a demon. (Romans 8:28) They teach -Basically all sickness is from sin and all sin is from a demon (me-John 9:3). So when Jesus hung upon the cross and took upon the sins of the world he was covered with demons?- WRONG! (me 1 John 2:2). I am a healthy person and I take everythought captive to the obedience of Christ for me I learn and I become stronger (me- Jeremiah 2:19.) (refiners fire). But I know there were alot of people there who were/are sick. I do believe sometimes it could be a sin, but not always (Romans 8:28,1 John 9:3, 1 John 4:1) I couldn’t stay in the conference the many hours it was running and went outside for breaks, I was stared at and encouraged not to miss any (they didn’t have friendly faces either). I smiled and said I needed to get some air. (Ezekiel 3:9) I really felt like they were trying to brain wash. The whole thing was very confusing and didnt make any sense (H.W. doctrine) In the conference there were two ladies that I talked too, one who this was her 5th time and another 3rd time at Be In Health (obviously they couldn’t grasp it- not sound doctrine) After the 4 days were over I could see as I headed out the door the fear that seemed to rest in the partakers eyes. I prey for those people that they will search the truth through God’s word. This H.W. doctorine does not give you a sound mind like hearing the word of God and doing it (Me James 1:25, Rev 22:9 ). I believe as Christians we should be preach the Gospel and Heal the sick, raise the dead ,and cast out demons, discern, love one another as Christ loves us, forgive and forbear one another in love. (me Mark 16:15, Matt 10:8, Heb 5:14, 2 Tim 4:2, 2 Tim 2:15) I believe Henry is one who has been decieved by the devil and has dabbled in the occult whether or not he knows it (me Matt 24:24 Acts 20:28-32)

They also teach christians should live long unscathed lives. Keith Green (who wrote alot of the hymns we use today) died in a plane crash (1982) at the height of his career. I love his music and it has blessed my heart as I’m sure many others. (me Phillipians 1:21)

Henry Wright Doctrine offers FEAR and CONFUSION .

God ‘s Word offers FREEDOM and PEACE.
    (me 2 Tim 1:7, 2Tim 2:15)

Thank you so much for your comment. I appreciate you taking to the time to speak the truth in a loving way. It makes me sad to think that Christians are being attacked from the outside as well as from the inside. If you have any more thoughts that you would like to pass on I would love to hear them. Many blessings!

Thank you for doing this website. It was such a relief to be able to share with others and hopefully strengthen, encourage, or inform others because I agree it is sad. I do have a few more things I wanted to mention, but will write them down next time I think of them and get back to you. God Bless You:)

      • kim Says:

Hi Wrightiswrong, here is some other stuff I wanted to mention

I don’t understand why people would continue to be involved…… but this is the reason I’m thinking-
        1. People that go to this conference are people that want a now fix, rather than seeking the Lord and waiting on his timing (I can understand why), but the “Henry Wright doctrine” takes advantage of that. It starts by scaring them then makes them think this Be In Health is the only way out.- WRONG

        2. When you go into the conference, they say that there will be demons trying to get you to leave. (Manipulation)

        3. It is very guarded, during their deliverance sessions they have people at the door, at the sides and at the front scanning the crowd. Not allowed to close eyes, bow head. If you do they will tap you on the shoulder. (Control)

        4. They hand out an intrusive questionnaire to see what “problems” you have. (I didn’t fill one out because by that time I didn’t trust “these” people, they don’t need to know about me, God know me) (Control)

        5. They seem to give a lot of “air-time” to the devil, and his powers! So much that it seems like they are giving glory to the devil. Which invited the spirit of fear in. To me that is giving place to the devil. (Fear)

        6. In the workbook they have various lists. One list is of actions they call occultism/ demonic. In workbook they say things like debate, argumentativeness, division, schism, (and lots more) is all demonic occult behaviour; and you must renounce such behaviour. The work book is not exhaustive, because they mention more “stuff” in conference. Basically, independent thought and reasoning is not allowed but considered demonic behaviour.
They list items that have occult/demonic derivations things like female angel statues to pharmaceutical drugs as being attained through demonic (witchcraft) practices. They say we must rid ourselves from ALL demonic practices. –BUT do not stop taking your doctor prescribed drugs. (they don’t want to be held accountable). The whole conference they really push, I mean REALLY push- “in order for us to receive God’s full blessing we must first rid ourselves of ALL demonic practices.” –Very Sneaky. (Manipulation and Fear)

(I can scan and email you the lists from the workbook- just let me know).

        7. They use a lot of repetition, same thing over and over and over and over. We must rid ourselves of ALL demonic occult behaviour. 4 days of drilling it into your head (that’s how I felt) through different speakers over and over again. (Brainwashing)

        8. They teach genetic behaviour, our behaviours are not our own, it is passed down from generation to generation. We are already being affected by demons (Fear)

        9. They teach in conference what you say you will become. They base this on one verse – Job 3:25. They want you to talk unrealistic. Talk as though you have no problems otherwise you are practicing demonic behaviour. (Fear)

        10. They teach you can’t be healed in isolation.
(they put God in a box, I know personally God can heal in isolation).
        (Control, Manipulation and Fear)

        11. They teach you can eat anything, food doesn’t matter, eating a balance diet doesn’t matter.
(but even God told the Israelites how to make a complete protein) Our bodies have basic needs.

The points that they try to make works with one verse, but that’s not how it works! God fine points his ways by using the whole Bible..

Here are a few verses that came to my mind during this conference:

        Eph 4:27, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Matt 24:23-26, Galatians 1:7-8 Psalm 23:4 Psalm 37:4, Psalm 34:7, Romans 8:28, Philippians 4:8, Deuteronomy, 30:19 Luke 4:18, Hebrew 5:14, James 5:16, 1 John 1:9, John 3:17

Here’s an interesting recent update from Henry Wright, posted on Youtube on 12/06/11.

Note a significant change in Wright’s tone after staring death in the face with a massive heart attack and bypass surgery last June. He should be on his knees thanking God for the medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry, the very means of grace God extended to him during that serious situation.

In light of God’s mercies to him, we should pray that Wright will abandon his dogmatic, erroneous and dangerous teachings on sickness and disease that have relegated many people to early graves and enslaved many others to a wrong theology of God, man, and sin.

    • Eric Says:

Yes, this is the video I refrenced in a recent reply post above.

Notice how he refrences that there must still be a generational sin issue that he has not completely dealt with that resulted in the heart issues.

I attended a For My Life week long seminar and found it very interesting. There were a couple of things that stood out as errors right away. But as I have continued to read the Word in the past year, I have seen more and more of Henry’s teachings to be wrong. The teaching on generational curses is the one I have the biggest problem with right now. This teaching has been disproven many times and the Bible makes it clear that generational sin is not an issue for the Christian believer.

So it is a bit disheartening that after all he has gone through this year, Henry is still looking to blame a generational sin for his current health issues.

Also interesting is how they hint at the end that Be In Health will change to include the “organic” side of health with an emphasis on nutrition. So, is Henry thinking his heart attack was a generational sin issue or an organic issue? I can’t tell.

I do hope he continues to recover of course.

wrightiswrong….any way you can e-mail me a copy of your extensive notes?

      Thanks.

Generational Blessings and Curses – HENRY WRIGHT
Generational Sins and Genetically Inherited Disease

[Is there such a thing as Generational Sins or are they sins common unto all man? Is there any among us who has, never stole, never wanted control, never had a prideful thought or never told a lie? If you are one than you have just lied! Maybe generational sins are what we are born with - our sin nature.]
[Where does generational curse come from?]
Henry – this scripture becomes the spiritual basis for all spiritual, biological, and genetically inherited diseases. [How did you get that out of this verse?] Exodus 20:5-6 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; 6And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. [It does not say condemning or judging but visiting to see if the children or grandchildren have taken after their fathers or have turned to me! The unfaithful Israelites died in the desert but were allowed to raise their children, who entered the promised land. NO 3rd or 4th generational punishment. He delights in breaking generational curses (His punishment) as soon as people turn to Him in repentance. A prime example is Nineveh, Jonah 3:10. Nehemiah restored the Israelites back to God. . NO 3rd or 4th generational punishment. “Religion” tends to turn God’s truth upside down, and that’s precisely what happened with the Law. Men took
what God intended as a means of driving them to seek His mercy and grace, and repackaged it as a goal to be obtained by works. Here God is expressing the brevity of his displeasure verse the longevity of his mercy.]
        visiting
        paqad (paw-kad’)
to visit (with friendly or hostile intent); by analogy, to oversee, muster, charge, care for, miss, deposit, etc.
[Remedy for generational sins is hearing the word and repenting?]
Nehemiah 8:1-3, 1And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which the LORD had commanded to Israel. 2And Ezra the priest brought the law before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month. 3And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the law.
Nehemian 7-8, 7Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place. 8So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
Nehemiah 9:2-3 2And the seed of Israel separated themselves from all strangers, and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquities of their fathers. 3And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the LORD their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the LORD their God. [Did God forgive them or punish them to the 3rd and 4th generation?]
Numbers 30:3-8 3If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth; 4And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand. 5But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her. 6And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul; 7And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand. 8But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her. [What does this have to do with Generational Curses]
        p. 82 Henry – Every time you step outside of the covenant, you open yourself to the law and the penalty of the law. [Jeremiah 31:31-33. Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. When Christ died, He completely satisfied the righteous demands of the Law (i.e., the penalty for the abrogation of the requirement of perfect moral holiness), such that those who believe in Him now fully meet God’s demand for perfect holiness and are no longer even capable of breaking the Law—since Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness for everyone who has faith in Him (Romans 10:4 4For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.) The true believer in Christ is incapable of breaking the Law because the Law no longer has jurisdiction over him (Rom. 7:1-25Romans 1Know ye not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) how that the law hath dominion over a man as long as he liveth? 2For the woman which hath an husband is bound by the law to her husband so long as he liveth; but if the husband be dead, she is loosed from the law of her husband. 3So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. 4Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. 5For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. 6But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. 7What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
9For I was alive without the law once: but when the commandment came, sin revived, and I died. 10And the commandment, which was ordained to life, I found to be unto death. 11For sin, taking occasion by the commandment, deceived me, and by it slew me. 12Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. 14For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. 15For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I. 16If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. 17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. 20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. 21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin. Rom. 8:1-11 1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.) The moral precepts are repeated so that believers can live free from the natural consequences of evil which can still ruin our lives and rob us of our time, talent, testimony and effectiveness for Christ (all of which can have indirect negative consequences for our eternal rewards), but there is no divinely imposed penalty for their violation, only natural consequences—which can be considerable.
Henry -Each of you should build your own family tree. (Build or look back on?)
Were your family members in past generations Christians? Were they righteous or unrighteous?
What were their personalities like? Were they filled with fear, hate, envy, strife, bitterness, etc?
What did they do for a living? Were they into alcohol, drugs and pornography? Did their lives contain any of the elements that we are learning are the roots for disease? Go back as many generations as you can. This will give you an idea os what is in your family.[Why do you have to look back at family history. Why not turn to God and do the best you can with your family to receive heaven awards. Then each child will have to decide for themselves whom they will follow when they grow up. Are looking for an excuse for our sins?]
Henry – … many Christians have diseases that is genetically inherited. Do you think it is possible that inherited genetic disease can be prevented if the parents line up with God before conception? [YES and NO. Anything is possible with God but NO we can’t ever line up with God, with the law, we will never be good enough. We are daily bring renewed by the blood of Christ. We all sin and fall short of the glory of God . I don’t need to break a curse I need stay in fellowship with Jesus who covers all my sins and makes me righteous!]
        [Generational sin prevention?]
Proverbs 22:15 15Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him. [This may teach a child right from wrong but what does this have to do with removing generational sins?]
        P. 83 Henry – …a man of God in that home, he would have taken every step to sanctify his wife and children. [I thought that only God could sanctify through the working of the Holy Spirit]
Henry – There may be some things that you are dealing with in your life that you inherited. You say, “that’s not fair.” Well, it’s not fair, but that’s the price we pay for separation from God and opening ourselves to the devil and allowing him to be our father and our leader and our truth. John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father (the devil) ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. [For a believer this no longer is an issue. When we accepted Jesus as our savior we were no longer under the law. No matter how much I sin, I am forgiven! Yet God with undeserved kindness declares that we are righteous]
Proverbs 26:2 2As the bird by wandering, as the swallow by flying, so the curse causeless shall not come. [Words are powerful, but their power is natural and a result of how the hearer responds and is willing to believe them.]

        Spiritually rooted diseases
        p. 84 Henry – In spiritually rooted diseases there is always a spiritual defect. That spiritual defect is an area of lack of sanctification.
Ezekiel 18:19 Yet say ye, Why? doth not the son bear the iniquity of the father? When the son hath done that which is lawful and right, and hath kept all my statutes, and hath done them, he shall surely live.[It meant we are all judged for our own actions. It’s not the release from generational curses]
1Corinthians 7:14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy.[Is this matriarchal witchcraft and what about Proverbs 31?] Proverbs 31 10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. 11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. 12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. 13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. 14She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar. 15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens. 16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard. 17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms. 18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night. 19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. 20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy. 21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet. 22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple. 23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. 24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant. 25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. 26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness. 27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. 28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. 29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all. 30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. 31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

        p. 84 healing spiritually rooted diseases
        1. Come into alignment with God – restoration
        2. Accept yourself
        3. Resolution with others
[Where does it say this in the Bible? Is this extra revelation? Adding to the Bible?]

        p. 85
2 Timothy 2:24-26 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, 25In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. [This does not apply to Christians!]

Henry – In order to get the disease removed, I must get the cause removed. That’s being sanctified. That’s what I’ve called my people to. A people who are sanctified without spot or blemish. [That’s not me nor anyone I know but I am righteous in the sight of the Lord. 23For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; 24Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.]

Henry – In order to that the disease removed, I must get the cause remove. That’s being sanctified. God said, That’s what I’ve called my people to. A people who are sanctified without spot or blemish. Ephesians 5:26-27 [Husbands love your wives to perfection as Christ loved the church] That HE (Jesus) might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27That He (Jesus) might present it(the church) to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing (Jesus the perfect sacrifice); but that it should be holy and without blemish.

        P. 87 Henry – Pastors, you need more than Vines, Ungers, Strongs and a Bible. Instead of getting 14 translations, why don’t you buy a Merck Manual, a pathophysiology manual, and an anatomy and physiology book and do a little laymen’s study on disease? [Why? That’s what doctors should have not pastors.]

Henry tells us what fibeomyalgia is using the Merck Manuel – written by who? Doctors

I read on their Be In Health wall on facebook, as soon as Henry came out of surgery alive, he said God has given me a new teaching! Whew, talk about your pride! Instead he should have been saying I thank you my God, that I came out of this surgery alive! What about Donna on this video? I don’t believe that she did any thanking and praising to God for her husband that is still sitting by her side. I watched that and it made me sick. Acts 18:4, Acts 17:2, 1 Thess 5:11-15, Col. 3:8, Eccl, 7:9 Prov. 9 : 7-9, Matt 7:5, Eph. 4:31, Eph 4:29

        Done on this subject!

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        Kim,

        Nope. Didn’t forget whatsoever.

Rather, these passages are the FOUNDATION of my confrontation of your self-deception and Rev. Wrong’s wickedness.

Subject not over until BIH is demolished.

        Yahuah Nissi !!!

  59. Gman Says:

Hi there. Could someone update on the health of Henry wright?. And what did he say the spiritual roots of heart problems were?. I pray he comes out of error in truth and from darkness to light in Jesus name. Also please email me as much info on Henry as you could as I have a brother caught in this thing.. Blessings….

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Sorry to hear about your brother! Have you read all the comments on this blog? If you have and still what more information please let me know.

    • Thomas Anderson Says:

Rev. Wrong is only “79% righteous, and that being only a lighter shade of grey than he was 25 years ago when he began this thing”.

THAT is why he’s not dead, but still suffering from Congestive heart failure, etc.. He only got a C+ in holiness, according to his own words and DEAD WORKS.

      Selah.

  60. Gman Says:

Hi. Please email to me any information you have. (wrightiswrong)

  61. denjey Says:

can you send me some of the material you have put together as I would like to read what you have and then I’ll post on this blog as I had spent seven weeks in Thomaston part of which was when Henry had his heart attack.

    • Thomas Anderson Says:

      “denjey”

      you’re a Wright disciple, aren’t you?

i sense that you’re our enemy, our foe… not a friend but unto Doctor Wrong.

      NICE TRY!

      • wrightiswrong Says:

That is OK! We have nothing to hide and I’m more than willing to have an intelligent logical spirit filled dialog that is uplifting with anyone. I passed on some of the articles that I usually start with. I have a lot more materials that stand for the truth of the bible and God’s word. My GOD is greater than the enemy. The truth will be revealed in GOD time and we are just his instrument.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

yes, i know…. but THEY do have plenty to hide.

just calling wolves out into the light ….

        HERE WOLFY! HERE LITTLE WOLFY!

        I GOT A ROD FOR YOU …….

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        besides, you CAN’T have an “intelligent, logical SPIRIT-FILLED” d i a l o g u e with them…. because they aren’t.

        1 Corinthians 2:14,15

14But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

      • davesd Says:

        Thomas Anderson,

hey Tom – lighten up and stop attacking people who post here. Regardless of your opinion of them personally, it would be much better to engage based on facts and stay away from the ad hominem attacks. It only makes for a lot of heat, but little light. Thanks. Dave

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        Please define “ad hominem attacks”.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        davesd,

        Ephesians 5:11
“Have nothing to do with the deeds of darkness, but rather EXPOSE them!”

        John 7:24
“Don’t judge by mere appearances, but judge a righteous (and spiritual) judgment.”

        1 Thessalonians 5:21-23
“Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.”

HOW’S THAT FOR LIGHT, LITTLE BUDDY !?

  62. davesd Says:

I’d be interested if anyone has documented information on the “ministry history” of Henry Wright, i.e., when he first became a pastor, what church(es), where, and circumstances under which he left prior “ministries” or churches

Public records investigation turned up a “Grace Christian Ministries Inc.” formed in Florida in 1986 and dissolved in 1996. Henry and Donna were officers of this corporation at some point in time. They now have Be In Health, Inc.

Also found that Henry has a criminal history in Duval County, Florida. Among his “accomplishments” are a felony grand theft conviction in 1990 (six months probation), and two worthless check charges in 1993 (pled guilty on one, no contest on the other – received probation on both). He also had a 1988 Florida state tax lien.

Henry filed for divorce from his first wife, Rachel Delk-Wright, in July 1993, in Clay County, Florida. Rachel died in July 2010 in Duval County, Florida.

His current wife, Donna, had a previous marriage to a David Bowers.

    • Cindy Pruss Says:

OK, so he had that ministry in Florida going when he was arrested for a felony and check bouncing. He has a new ministry in Florida now , run by him and Donna, and one of his original ministers , Nellie Lower. Anita Hill, another minister from BIH, she might have moved down there too. I believe I read that this church is in Cape Coral Springs FL. So this mighty man of satan is brewing up some new evil again in Florida. When is this evil going to stop? It just keeps spreading like a cancer. Everyone that knows the goods on Henry and his flock of wolves should be praying earnestly for this spiritual rapist to be exposed and caught! I know I will certainly be praying!

    • Cindy Pruss Says:

Sorry David, I went back and looked the info up again. The ministry that Henry started again in Florida is called Grace Christian Ministries. It is located in Green Cove Springs Florida. Nellie Lower is the treasurer. It also showed Anita L Hill as living there now. I got the info from Intelius. If you want to spend the money, you can find a lot more info on there on all of the above people mentioned.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

        Good work, Cindy P.

      • davesd Says:

Cindy, I see a BIH Facebook post dated 12/09/11 that Rick Jones was “released” from his duties at BIH.

Do you have any idea what his position was with the organization? I didn’t see his name come up in any of my background work. I wonder if “released” is code for “fired?”

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

Rick Jones was “released” from his duties at BIH.

What was his position was with the organization?

        “released” is code for “fired?”

HE PROBABLY GOT A MERE 58% IN HIS LAST “RIGHTEOUSNESS SCALE” TEST, AND DROPPED A FEW SHADES OF GRAY IN HIS DELIVERANCE LEVELS.

Poor guy! Rev. Wrong’s ascension from 79% to 85% after surviving his HEART DISEASE probably intimidated Mr. Jones….

      • Cindy Pruss Says:

I saw on the BIH wall where Rick Jones was let go from his BIH job. You can log on to Mary Pat , his wife’s fb wall, where she comments in the older posts, that she was also let go, because BIH are making changes they (her and her husband Rick) are not a part of. It was interesting to read the comments made by their friends. I am getting excited that the dirt down there is beginning to stir . God is always in control, no matter how strange the situation seems. I did not know Rick or Mary Pat, all I can say is thank you my God that they were let go. Hopefully, they will go in the right direction in all things in their lives.

      • Thomas Anderson Says:

YEAH, SURE! “Going in a different direction”

Just like DIVORCE is a “permanent separation” or “marital dissolution” these days….

        *gag! *barf!

  63. Robert W. Watts Says:

I am a pastor, a missionary of 35 years. Outside of the American name-it-and-claim-it influence, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are enough. Here in the USA, they sell Jesus in many packages but each one has the same flavor. You need me to tell you what the Bible, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God want you to know. Firstly, for 1,500 or so years, give or take an hour or so, people did not have the word of God, or writings. They had pastors and teachers and though many tended to go for the ornate, most lived simple lives where they dealt with sin. Then, the Word of God was given to the people. The leaders of the day knew that they were doomed. When people can read the actual words of God, then it is true that the need no teacher. As a matter of fact, those that taught about Jesus and the Holy Spirit said as much. Let your conscience be your guide and the Holy Spirit will take you where God wants you to go.

I attended a seminar of Henry W. Wright’s teachings and was amazed that Henry W. Wright was the center of the teaching / conference. Here I thought I had come to know about God. I was taught, through a team of teachers, that Satan really ran things, not God, because we gave everything to Satan and if we did not do the 8 steps, say the prayers, over and over and over again, we would not ever be free from the boss, the Devil, empowered by our own lack of…. understanding.

Are there good things in Wright’s wrongs? Sure, 99 percent of rat poison is great stuff, or, even a rat would not eat it. It is, unfortunately that 1 percent that kills, and that is that there is something besides letting Jesus talk to us through the Holy Spirit.

Look, in the tribes and nations I talk to, we are still working out getting them the scriptures in their own language. Millions and millions have been spent getting Henry W. Wright into different languages as well as the billions and trillions spent in translating books, not the Bible and excuse me if I am naive but I thought that the Bible was the most important. It is not, evidenced by printing orders and publications by God’s (slight shudder here) people. It is sad that the Bible is just not good enough and sadly that Jesus is lacking in power to heal, once and for all, and that we should return for years and years and years to get the good stuff that Jesus never mentioned.

Sorry, I am headed to Nigeria, Northern Nigeria where they kill people who say they are Christian, to take the the Bible. To tell them that Jesus is the answer and that the Holy Spirit will guide them when they ask for empowerement, not so they will be happy, healthy, wealthy and wise, but that they might be empowered to tell others about (sigh…) Jesus and the Holy Spirit and the father. Not (__________) fill in the blank. Anyone that sells Jesus Christ through their teachings, life and actions will fit.

God help the lost, lonely and poor. They might become like those that Jesus said he never knew.

By the way, if you want to help, please send Bibles and teachers and missionaries that want to give. 35 years, planting over 150 churches and I never asked them, those I ministered to, for a dime. Someone, please show me Jesus or Paul passing the plate.

    • Thomas Anderson Says:

  64. Savedbygrace Says:

    Thanks for this blog,
I too am a survivor of this BeinHealth cult, having gone to Georgia and read many of his books. I too was convinced at one time that these “divine principles” would solve all of my problems. I regretfully convinced other family and friends to take the trip to Georgia for a week of what I now consider brainwashing. When I say survivor I do not do it lightly as this has been a very real deliverance from the bondage of lies and occultic powers. For, when I was there I experienced real power and energy and tongues during a time of “receiving the holy spirit”. These are the workings of Satan with all power, false signs and wonders. This ministry was a floodgate into the false world of shamanistic healing: cleansing stream, Bethel in Redding Ca (where I had my leg grow out, watched objects levitate, seen oil and gold dust manifest and feathers fall out of the sky etc..stuff my psychology degree couldn’t explain away). I had many prophecies over me and my husband which ended us up at the headquarters for the International Association of Healing Rooms (who use the be in health material/teachings). Praise God that while studying their SOZO inner healing material he miraculously opened my eyes to this being from the occult.

Satan is a powerful deceiver that comes to us as an angel of light. He will use anything to get us away from the truth of God’s Word. He is a master at misquoting scripture (as he did when he tempted Christ). He will even orchestrate convincing “supernatural” events to that will lead your down a path to lies. He did this with bringing Henry Wrights book into my life. But God’s mercy has delivered me from the distorted teachings and occultic deceptions!

This ministry is it he same tradition as other metaphysical mind science cults which all have their origin in the occult. The basic premise is no different then shamanism or the law of attraction. Whether Henry is a knowing wolf or self deceived is not the issue. This ministry is based on lies. Sin is our problem and Jesus is the solution, period! No where in scripture are We told to cast out demons or break curses to get rid of sin. Truly, the Bible is clear that not all sickness is from Satan. As Jesus declared to the Jews of His day, that the blind man was not blind from generational sin, but in order to glorify God….imagine that! also Ezekiel 18 refutes generational curses. We are under the general curse of death and dying. Which Christ will completely deliver us from at the resurrection.
Now, we are to repent and put our complete trust in Christ for salvation. Resist the devil and he will flee from you is a daily choice to walk in obedience, not a mind control/brain washing new age “I am” walk-out.

As one person on this blog pointed out, I feel like what happened to me at Be in Health was spiritual rape. The sad result of their brainwashing is pride that you have the answers and thinking that others our lost. This is typical of Satan, as his main sin is rooted in pride. This was reinforced when I prayed for others and they manifested as I prayed for there “deliverance”. I believe this was all part of Satan’s deception to pull me further from a humble walk in submissions to God’s Word.

It took about a year and a half after getting out, hundred of hours of really studying God’s word, listening to solid Bible teachers, reading testimonies of survivors, etc. before I could think correctly again. I cannot begin to explain the raging battle for my soul that has taken place. Satan tried to tell me I had left God and the true Holy Spirit (this was a hard one because i had bought the experience lie). He tried to have me reject everything. He tried, but he has failed. I did not experience freedom from all of this overnight. I pleaded in tears and threw myself at His mercy. I repented of listening to false teachers and asked for His truth to reign in my life. He has brought me out of the lies.
I now look back on This experience with a mixture of regret and joy. for I feel as though he has given me new eyes to discern evil. My spiritual pride and intellectualism has been crushed, and my empathy for others caught in lies has magnified. I have studied most of the suedo Christian cults and world religions and can see Satan’s lies repackaged again and again. I only take the time to write this in hopes that someone might be snatched from the fire, as Jude tells us to do.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

I totally agree with you Robin. Here is a little brief On “Binding Satan” By Ray C. Stedman
After pastoring for forty years I can state unequivocally that the most common cause of spiritual weakness in a Christian (or a church) is a failure to recognize the flesh in its disguise of religious zeal. Like Peter flashing a sword in Gethsemane the fleshly Christian thinks he is doing God’s will and fighting God’s battles for him.
Perhaps one of the commonest expressions of this misguided zeal is the practice of “binding Satan” before Christian ministry is attempted. The Word of God gives no justification for this practice. None of the apostles utilized this approach and no Scripture commands Christians to practice it. It is an exta-biblical performance, arising from the desire of the flesh to look committed and powerful in the service of God. Christians are told to “resist the devil” but never to bind him. Resisting the devil is done by putting on the whole armor of God, as Paul describes it in Ephesians 6. The “binding and loosing” mentioned in Matthew 18:18 refers to the agreement in prayer of believers in line with the promises of God revealed in his Word.
Another form of this same error is to ascribe the manifestations of the flesh to the work of demons, which then are ostensibly “cast out” of an individual through a “deliverance ministry.” But Galatians 5:19-21 clearly tell us that lust, hatred, discord, jealousy, rage, envy, sexual orgies, and the like are not the work of demons but of the flesh. It is impossible to “cast out” the flesh during this lifetime—rather it is to be subdued by recognizing its evil character, refusing to yield mind or body to its impulses, and turning immediately to Jesus for the supply of his strength and purity, as Romans 6:13 so clearly outlines.
It is plainly the work of pastors and teachers to help Christians identify the flesh in themselves, by means of the Word of God, and to follow the pattern the Word describes to keep the flesh in subjection to the spirit and the individual free to live as the Lord has already made provision to do.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery” (Galatians) God bless you. Thank you for your comments. It is important that those how can see the truth to step up and speak out. Thanks again.

    • Robert W. Watts Says:

Yes, yes, going to the mountains, to the poor, to those that cannot be overwhelmed by words look at Wright and his ilk and laugh. They know demons and know the occult, they know this is Satanic. Endless hours of dancing and singing and they call it Holy Spirit. Look at the life of Christ, it is easy to see the comparisons.

Endless repetitions of mantras, though Christian sounding, only open you to possession, evidenced by selfishness and the need for one more conference, one more teacher. Then seeking miracles and constant reminders that God is there to bless us,, smack of any occult gathering around the world. The leaders end up with fine houses and cars in the face of starvation and war world wide. In the Bible, it was the demonic that acted like animals and writhed on the ground. Today they convince you it is the Holy Spirit.

The entire name-it-and-claim-it thing is so far from Jesus walking the streets, avidly avoiding the “Greatest Show on Earth,” and preaching against it.

The parallels and activities are so obvious when you study the Indian cults or the Shamans. The antithesis of Christ. The mindless repetition of my Muslim friends, the resuscitation of needful prayers, over and over and over and….

When there is a war, self indulgence is a sin. People are arrested for using too much for themselves. There is a war in Nigeria and around the world. My government tells me not to go. When I was young, I was a US Marine. They wanted me to go to hell, for them. Where are God’s people? Attending conferences where they spend billions on conference centers where they need ………..

      enough

Matthew 25:31-46 and you don’t have to sing, dance and spend hours in intercession. Just do it. Utah Phillips, Noam Chomsky, Howard Zinn as well as many others, look at Christianity and laugh. It is not Christ they are laughing at, it is our pathetic attempt to convince the world that Wright is right. no, no, no….

Listen to the mockers, they read the Bible and take it at face value. If you are not willing to deny yourself, what does that make you? Who is your boss?

    • Anon Says:

Awesome testimony. Thank you for posting!

  65. Robert W. Watts Says:

Please, all of you who think that you are living the life of Christ, go to a field, spend three days without food and water. Read the New Testament. It makes more sense that way.

If you did deny yourself your next conference and sent the money to the starving, you might qualify as a servant of Christ.

I believe that those that passed by the man laying on the road to Jericho were on the way to a healing seminar. Don’t want to smell in the midst of plastic soldiers.

Everyone knows that working for God means health, wealth and happiness. Why, just ask Jesus, hanging on the cross, or Peter being tortured or ………

Please, I need Bibles, food, love, acceptance and forgiveness. Not for me for —————–> them.

  67. Jason Says:

As an “outsider” who does not belong to any formalized or established religion, I read what this man had to say about A.D.D, and in that one section alone he demonstrates a remarkable amount of ignorance about what the condition is actually all about.

First he claims that A.D.D. is caused by a “deaf and dumb” spirit. Yet neither A.D.D nor A.D.H.D (two different conditions) have anything to do with being deaf and/or dumb.

Then he starts rambling on about how men are deemed (in Christian belief) to be the head of the household, and further infers that the devil will start entering the family dynamics when this is not the case. He goes further to purport that families that are matriarchal will produce children with conditions such as A.D.D. He then proceeds to veer along another obscure chain of thought by talking about a child in an experiment with “focus” training., and about how A.D.D. is brought about by self-rejection (other way round, actually).

This man presents himself to the public as an authoritative source of health information – undermining both pastors and doctors in his wake, yet his writing seems to go all over the show without any clear train of thought, and he throws around bible verses which actually have little or nothing to do with the topic at hand.

As a physically fit and extremely healthy man with A.D.D, I would advise that you study health and nutrition a little more deeply – notwithstanding whatever your spiritual/religious sentiments about health and disease may be.

If he is such an expert on health, then why is he so FAT? I for one will not take health advice from people who are obese.

    • wrightiswrong Says:

Henry will frequently find 1 single verse to base a whole misconstrued theology on. Take the deaf and dumb spirit. How many time is this story (phrase) found in the bible? Once! Jesus Heals a Boy Possessed by an Impure Spirit. A man brings his son to be healed of what sounds like seizures or epilepsy by the disciples. The boy would fall to the ground, foam at the mouth, gnash his teeth and grow rigid. In short the disciples couldn’t heal the boy but Jesus does. Jesus rebuked the impure spirit. “You deaf and mute spirit,” he said, “I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.” I can just feel the exasperation in Jesus words. What if Jesus had said. I’m so tired of dealing with you stupid spirits! Then would all people of below average intelligence be filled with a “stupid spirit”? Now how Henry goes from epilepsy to ADD or ADHD is beyond me. Henry’s follows are taught to focus on word studies – using Henry’s dictionary and his other works. They are not taught to us context clues of verses, nor context clues of the chapter nor the context of the book they are reading. When you try to reason with his followers they are deaf and dumb to what you are saying. There is no logical thought! Who has a deaf and mute spirit?

It seems to me that some of his follower need to wise up to what Henry is preaching. Thanks for your blog!

      • Robert W. Watts Says:

As with any cult, there is always one more twist or turn. You will be invited to follow them through prayers and remember if it doesn’t work, it is obvious that first, you are the problem and second, these things take time.

Leaving the Biblical teachings about the new birth, you must be born again and again and again, delivered again and again and again.

I am currently in a ministry position where one partner is a funky chicken kind of tongues speaking and believing person and a rather sane Christian that is rational. The funky chicken cannot just talk. They must make a simple sentence into a “Praise the Lord, Hallaluja amen,” repeated frequently between a good and morning.

Clearly there are problems but when presented to a ministry crew from Henry W. Wright, one partner was informed that if they did not do the funky chicken kind of tongues speaking, they would never hear from God. How’s that? Say what? If you don’t his like a snake, bark like a dog and claim to be a little God, God can’t use you and you can never understand someone who does.

First, you have to read the book. If you have questions,, it is because you are not in tune with the spirit of God. Huh? Then on the one hand he says doctors are nuts and don’t know but if you read the doctor’s books, you will see that Wright is right and not wrong? Huh? Then, there are many “Miracles that are not at all verifiable and if you try to verify them, call, write or visit the ‘doctors’ of the Miracles, you are in doubt.” God can’t work when you are in doubt.

It is like an onion. First this book and that seminar, then another and another till Henry has paid the bills on his multi-milliondollar lifestyle. My brothers and sisters around the world are starving and the poor man can’t pay for his platial house and complex. Sorry?

Deep cries out unto deep? The more you spend,, the further you get and if you attend, you can become a dispenser of this secretive and informative but necessary for life drought of heaven. Huh?

One of the partners is clearly out of the will of God. There is no unity and there is no agreement in the family but the funky chicken wins the day. Why, if we all did the funky chicken, flopped around on the floor and made noises like an animal, how much better a world this would be. Say what?

Please, there are people dying and even the musicians and demon possessed know enough to have “Band Aid” and parties to send food. My goodness, I am faced with trying to feed the poor and they are doing their best to convince me that denying myself, living a life of austerity so i can send more to the poor is just… wrong, Wright?

If you do not want to follow Jesus, please do not have someone who is unwilling to lay down their life for their brother, build an edifice and call the people unto him. Just tell the poor they are sinners and demon possessed. Why everyone knows that real Christians live a life of luxury,, attend meetings about how to cast demons out of each other, after a good meal and another Wright book, Right? Wrong.

America is and will be judged. Please, please, please know that every religion has one basic principle that comes from the heart and soul. God put it in our very fiber and being. Help those less fortunate and the poor. Feed the widows and orphans and help those fleeing war and persecution.

Wright? Wrong dude. The funky chicken doesn’t make a better cop, soldier or fireman. Try that stuff in the real world and they will have you committed.

And yeah, by the way, the people we follow in the Bible died, that’s right, died for their beliefs. Please, someone pinch them.

  68. Dave Says:

Here’s the latest from Henry and Donna.

Almost 15 minutes of groveling for money. Apparently they have not learned anything from Henry’s personal health crisis except that their support has evaporated. As people have observed that his erroneous teachings clearly didn’t work on him, they have decided to move on. Let’s hope the days of BIH are numbered and that people will truly look to the Savior and his all-sufficient grace rather than the twisted man-centered “gospel” promoted by BIH.

    • Cindy Pruss Says:

I really wish that I could get back the thousands of dollars that I gave to them the six months that I wasted down there. I am praying diligently to God and asking Him to shut this so called ministry down. It has cost me so much more than money. My grown children are still so angry with me for being gone so long, telling me that I left them and neglected them. I was always being told that I would come back a better mother to them by staying down there, and I believed them.

    • Anon Says:

I certainly HOPE this ministries days are numbered for the sheep’s sake. They need to stop pedaling the false gospel to thousands… Sadly, It has infiltrated so many churches in the Thomaston area and even around the globe…all those curses devils and blocks. All the things Jesus died for, this church and this man is trying to resurrect. According to my BIH sources, they laid off MANY workers without ANY notice or pay for the current work, just last week.

  69. Anon Says:

    What is a cult?

A cult is a group polarized around a strong leader
who deviates from orthodox Christianity in some significant way.

I cannot think of a church that fits this better than HW, BIH and PVC.

  70. wrightiswrong Says:

Sandy, when you say “there are the odd things he says i make me cringe” that is the Holy Spirit talking to you. You need to heed HIS warning and research what is being said. We can’t evaluate all the other churches nor everything that is being said but when the Holy Spirit speaks to us we need to take heed. We only need to study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth (2 Timothy 2:15) in the church we are attending. How many Christian doctors refuse to work with Henry because they find him heretical? You are using argumentum ad verecundiam to try and prove that Henry’s ministry is right. The most general structure of this argument is:
Source A says that Henry is true.
    Source A is authoritative.
    Therefore, Henry is true.
This is a fallacy because the truth or falsity of a claim is not related to the authority of the claimant, and because the premises can be true, and the conclusion false (an authoritative claim can turn out to be false). I believe in confession and repentance as most orthodox Christians and churches do. I believe that there are many people with psychological hang ups that Henry can definitely help as he is a psychology major. I believe that God can even work through Henry to provide spiritual healing. But that does not negate his many errors in ministry. My ministry is not to the new age movement nor the homsexual/lesbian population. But since you appear to have a real heart and concern for these groups, it may just be where GOD is calling you to minister. My ministry is with 9 children which are not mine own.

I’m sure you have read this story before. I love to reread it frequently: The Starfish Story Original Story by: Loren Eisley
One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean. Approaching the boy, he asked, ?What are you doing?? The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean. The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don”t throw them back, they”ll die.” “Son,” the man said, “don”t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish” You can”t make a difference!” After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish, and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said”“ I made a difference for that one.”

Hopefully my little contribution to those children will make a difference to them. How about you?

  71. ANON Says:

    Dear Wright is wrong,

May I encourage you to ignore Sandy at this point.
You have done an excellent job at stating your case
but she cannot comprehend what you are saying just yet.

She has drank the kool aid and it will
either kill her as it has SO many others
or it will run out of her system and into the urinal where it belongs and she will see the truth at that time.

I do not curse HW ministry, he does it for himself.
According to Paul, Anyone preaching another gospel is
    doubly cursed.

God help HW to turn away from his wickedness and repent
lest he be the one who hears “I never knew you”.

I do pray for his healing from his heart attack.

    Really, really, really good. Solid.

    Thanks!

  73. Thomas Anderson Says:

    I agree wholeheartedly.
